"This is a great locations with fabulous views. We stayed in one of the two units with a balcony. They offer wine and snacks 4-6pm. There are a couple restaurants within a few 100 yards. The cafe that is part of the complex has tasty breakfasts/coffees"

"This is our second stay at the Lofts and we will certainly be back again. Such unique and gorgeous rooms and amenities. Check in is super easy and they provide parking passes for a nearby parking garage. The Lofts are right in the heart of downtown SLO providing a cool vibe that is super convenient for shopping and dining. We can’t wait to go back! "

"The location was really nice. One block from the beach. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean."

"The grounds and the rooms are clean. But with animal allowed they should not have carpeting. The carpets should be replaced with hardwood floors. They sprayed the rooms with pesticide and the smell was very prevalent for a few days. After that the carpet smelled old and moldy. The breakfast was very good."

"I liked the La Serena Inn for many reasons. First, it had a very calm and peaceful atmosphere that my family and I enjoyed very much. Secondly, we definitely enjoyed the free breakfast with waffles. (Saved more that $30). Finally, we enjoyed watching the ocean from our balcony and having the beach one block away from our room. "

"We got room 8 which was on a corner and it had good views and we loved that we didn’t have to move our car to go to the pier because the pier was just around the corner. The room was clean and had extra blankets and pillows. It was a bit noisy from the people upstairs and there was also another noise that was very present, probably from the restaurant next store. Overall good hotel but if you like privacy then this is not the place because there are people walking past at all times, we had to...

"The property was new and clean. It was convenient to where we were staying. The breakfast was very nice. We were sad that the pool was not open since that was one of the Considerations for choosing this hotel. We were in a room with a conjoining room. We could hear quite clearly everything that was being said in the other room. It's a good thing that they weren't having a party."
