Carrizo Plains National Monument is home to endangered species such as the San Joaquin kit fox, and the giant kangaroo rat. It is also home to some of the most spectacular wildflower shows in Southern California. In 2017 the Carrizo Plains received record rainfall and the resulting wildflower blooms brought visitors from near and far to frolic in the #green fields lush with desert candles, phacelia and sunflowers!

The beds were very comfortable I never was able to find a check in time. The space was great. We had difficulty eating together and playing games as only the smallest unit had a dining table that sat 6. The management was very responsive. I’d visit again.
