"A beautiful old house that was welcoming. Excellent location - parking was street or structure but easy to find. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. "

"We've stayed here many times over the past 25 years. The hotel is still so quaint and cozy but the condition is not as immaculate as it was in past years. Furnishings, paint, etc. could use some sprucing up. Amenities previously offered are no longer and we miss the old gift shop. We still enjoyed our stay and the Christmas decorations."

There is a restaurant right next door that was delicious, and I found out right before checking out that you can request it to be delivered to your door. The jacuzzi on the rooftop was nice and the area was walkable if you're not afraid of some hills."

"The hotel was so convenient being right in the middle of downtown. We chose this hotel because it was walking distance to the Fremont theater. What made the stay really nice was the hospitality and service we received. We had an issue that we mentioned to the manager who happened to be nearby and he gave us service that was above and beyond our expectations to make up for the problem. We would stay here every time we come to San Luis Obispo. Also the Bistro food was excellent!"
