"Loved this property! It’s was very clean. Loved the themed decor. We had the Octopus room with view of the coffee house across the street with a peek a boo view of the bay from the balcony. We went on Memorial Day weekend & it was very pleasant. We enjoyed the outdoor fire place on the table & electric fire place in the room. Beds were very comfy. We will be going back & get a room over looking the bay next time. Highly recommend!!!"

"This newly remodeled, quaint property was a lovely experience. The property itself is pretty no frills -- no onsite staff, no food service or vending machine -- and operates like an short-term rental where you are messaged access codes. But the rooms are upscale and comfortable. We had a dog so stayed in the ADA room which allows dogs. The patio was private and a great place to relax and the fire pit is a very nice touch. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Can easily walk to a number...

"Our first time staying here but not the last. The room was clean, well set up and very comfortable with lots of areas for our belongings. We appreciated the comfortable bed, ambient lights and cosy bedding. Parking was plenty and very convenient. It’s walkable to the wharf too!"

"The place is obviously old but it’s well maintained. The AC/heater was hit or miss. Parking was adequate. Close access to Embarcadero and all the good shops and restaurants. The guy in the front asked us if we needed room upkeep in the morning and we said yes. Only the towels were replaced, the bed, which had a flat sheet instead of a fitted sheet, was not made. Otherwise, it was a good stay, overall."

"The staff was friendly, the rooms are updated and very clean. The location is perfect for walking distance from the hotel to all the shopping and eating places locally. We have stayed here many times and will continue to book my room here every Moro Bay trip"

"The deluxe suite was very clean, convenient, and had an excellent view of the bay and a side view of Morro Rock (you have to be right next to the window to see the rock). It is up a steep, narrow flight of stairs and you have to go through the lobby to get to it, but those were the only drawbacks. The couch makes into a queen sized bed, too, so you can honestly sleep 6 normal sized adults in this room. Worth every penny."
