"We had the best time during our stay! Cabin is comfortable, has every kitchen amenity you could wish for, & the free access to kayaks was a huge plus for us! All of the mattresses were super comfortable. Cindy was a great host & Poe, her dog, was the sweetest! The location can't be beat! We enjoyed kayaking the Au Train River, Brownstone Inn for dinner, Bay Furnace for rock hunting, Capt Ron's Whitefish truck in Munising is a must & Au Train Grocery has the best pasties! We hope to return next...

"My daughter and I had an amazing stay! This was the perfect spot for chasing waterfalls around town. Halfway between Marquette and Munising we found so many and had a day at Pictured Rocks. This house is perfect for pets too. House was clean, beds were comfy and the hot tub was an added bonus. Thanks for the hospitality. One thing I would recommend is make sure you bring coffee. "

"Loved the rustic cottage and peaceful river just out front. Cottage quite clean but I was surprised to find that someone had put some plates away dirty so I washed all the dishes we used before using. Otherwise a very enjoyable place to be."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Robins Nest. Very clean and plenty of space. We liked looking out the window and seeing the Au Train river. Great area, we will be returning to the Robins Nest again."

"Overall everything was perfect. The weather, location, cabin by the river, & very friendly neighbors staying in other cabins. We will visit again. "

"This is a nice home with good amenities. We enjoyed our stay, as it was a good location to everywhere we wanted to visit for hiking and kayaking. The house was clean and the bed was comfortable. We liked that the host included a fun kayak trip down the river, with the rental house. We visited a lot of waterfalls, hiked and really enjoyed the area. We favored eating most meals in but ate a few out. When we had some issues at the house the host responded immediately and sent a maintenance person...

"The cabin was peaceful with a view of the river and just a few blocks from Lake Superior. We enjoyed walking to the ice cream shop near Lake Superior and walking around the neighborhood, as well as paddle boating and grilling at the cabin. The cabin was close to plenty of waterfalls, boat tours, hikes, and other activities so we could easily stop back between activities. The only part I didn't love was the floor didn't seem very insulated (it wasn't cold but sounded loud for walking and my kids...

"We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Breath taking views, quiet and serene. We grilled, had a fire and tested out the sauna! There was plenty to do just outside, but inside were games and whatnot to keep you entertained. We HIGHLY recommend and hope to return!"

"The house is beautiful and really well equipped for all needs. The view of the AuTrain river is only eclipsed by its location - go down some steps and it’s right there. Close to Lake Superior. The beach is lovely and not terribly crowded. Great central location- close to Marquette and Munising plus a couple small markets down the street. Love, love, loved it!!"

"The place is nicely updated, comfortable and clean. The only complaint I have was the water pressure in the shower and the kitchen sink were very low. "

"The Brick was perfect for our family trip. It was clean, spacious, comfortable beds and fully stocked kitchen. The location was ideal for all of our sightseeing adventures. I highly recommend staying here and would stay here again if we come back to visit!! "

"This place was perfect for our trail riding adventure. Wide open space for parking multiple vehicles, trailers and machines. The interior of the house is really cool and quite unique. Would very much recommend this for large families or groups. "
