  • This property is located in the town of AuTrain and is only 15 minutes from Pictured Rocks. Take a 5 minute walk to AuTrain Beach and enjoy the river or Lake Superior, or to just catch the sunset. The AuTrain River empties into the Lake providing early season swimming. This house was stripped down to the studs and completely remodeled top to bottom inside in 2019.

    Space is plentiful for large groups of families. With accommodations for up to 12, this house is a great place for people to get together and enjoy the area. The property has a 6' privacy fence enclosing the entire back yard. There is a really nice campfire area setup to enjoy the outdoors and relax after a long day of exploring. There are 5 bedrooms with (2) king's, (2) queens and one (1) full bunk. There is a futon in the lower level for additional sleeping. Amenities include a washer/dryer, dishwasher, fully stocked kitchen with equipment to cook for 12 guests. All bedding, linens, towels, paper towel and toilet paper, gas grill with propane, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent and softener as well as coffee filters for our regular drip coffee maker. We don't provide toiletries. If this place doesn't have it, we will get it for you.

    There is WiFi, three TV's, and a free canoe/kayak rental is included. (discounts for additional canoe/kayaks is available) The garage is available for your use as well.

This house is layed out very well for a 6 person group, multiple showers, water pressure will massage your shoulders, no joke. Parked two truckes and trailers easily.

Yes, kitchen was well equipped and had a totally fenced in back yard so it was very pet friendly. Nice location. Right across the road from a little gas station/grocery store, 2 blocks to the lake, and close to the trails. Would stay there again!

Everything about this stay was wonderful. Our whole family was able to be together under one roof and there was plenty of space for all of us. Au Train beach was fun, only a short walk. The property owner/manager were wonderful and super kind & helpful.Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Da Big House

This home was a perfect place to hang out during the down time of our vacation. All 12 of us (9 adults & 3 kid's) fit comfortably here. There is a gas station, small shop and beach all within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again!

2025 snowmobile trip

Great place to stay for our group to go snowmobiling. Corey is a great host, had a plumbing problem and Corey let us put our things in the house and got the problem fixed promptly.

Great location to all Pictured Rocks tours and Au Train kayak rentals. Walk to ice cream, groceries, gifts and more. Lots of room for parking. Four couples stayed here with plenty of room. Grill, deck, fire pit, outdoor games-all great! Beds are comfortable and water was hot! Beautiful area! We will be back!

Beautiful house!

The house was lovely and exactly as described in a great location. We had plenty of space for 4 adults and 3 teens and were able to easily get anywhere we wanted to visit. Would definitely rent again if we return to the area.

Spacious Property

The property was spacious and well suited for a large group or family. Since there were only four of us there was room to spare. Conveniently located to grocery store, Lake Superior and restaurants. Overall a nice stay.

Great accommodations and location for a summer family vacation. Lots of room, clean, quiet and comfortable. Great location! Close to the Au Train river and across the street from Da Kayak Shop and grocery store. Walking distance to Lake Superior. We will look to stay again
