"Check in was very efficient and she answered our questions quickly. Her dining recommendation was very solid. Delightful room with essentially a glass wall, lots of light. Nice bedding, lighting, kettle coffee/tea, furnishings. Quite a bit of people noise and room door lock beeping in the hallway. "It's in the process of having a refurb. Good location and we got a great deal for 2 single rooms overlooking the main street. Traditional hotel. Decent bar. Typical keg beers, but reasonable prices. Rooms tidy. Lovely bath, if you prefer a soak. Probably a 4.6/5 for me. 😊"

"We stayed in a room at the rear of the property. It is clean, but very dated bathroom, decor, upholstery and carpet. Really needs a complete renovation. It was a very hot evening and a ceiling fan would be useful because there is not a lot of room in the accommodation for a free standing fan. The sun is on the room all day. Food excellent and staff very courteous."

"I did not get to stay at the OVO, I booked the wrong date (my error), but having paid Expedia for insurance that would alow me to make changes to the booking, the venue wanted to charge a handling fee that was 100% of the room cost. seeing that it would have cost me the full room cost on top of whatever the actual day would cost me I decided not to cancel and to book elsewhere."

"A modern and comfortable room, but the poor breakfast service let down the overall enjoyment of the stay. The rooms are well designed and high quality, although there were issues with our lamp (flickering badly, couldn’t use it) and shower (blocked plug hole, not draining). Maintenance issues were reported to reception, but as it was the weekend, I was told there was nobody available to look into it until Monday. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the rest of the room. Breakfast was disappointing....
