Footpath descending off Worsaw Hill The footpath drifts through the gate, before descending the hill to reach the photographed pasture. This takes it to the A59, which is crossed to enter Chatburn.

Chatburn station (remains). View NE, towards Hellifield: ex-L&Y Blackburn - Hellifield secondary main line. The station and line were closed to passenger services on 10/9/62, but remained open for goods until 23/3/64. In 1994 services were restored Blackburn - Clitheroe, infrequently on to Hellifield and the through route has been maintained intact for some freight, and for diverted or Special passenger trains, also for two Blackpool - carlisle passenger trains on Summer Sundays!

Fantastic value for money. Can’t fault the place. Staff are exceptional - lovely well presented clean hotel. Rooms very comfortable and so quiet at night. Breakfast was also five starts. Fantastic stay

Lovely hotel and extremely clean. We were in the club house room which is in a separate building from the main hotel. The room was very clean and modern. My only complaint was there were 2 small bottles of water put out for us like most hotels do but they were half full and the seals were broken ...
