"The room was large and the bed comfortable. The balcony was much bigger than I expected. Most of the staff were exceptional. The bartenders at both bars were jerks. In fact many people were bringing in their own liquor so they didn’t have to put up with the poor service,attitude and watered down drinks (when you could actually get one). The restaurant staff were great and the food was terrific with indoor and outdoor seating."

"The Kimpton Hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff were very attentive. I had an issue with my thermostat and someone was at my foot within 15 minutes. They took care of it and had no other issues throughout my stay. Only one complaint that my room was somewhat dark despite the 4 lamps in the room. The building is over 100 years old so maybe that's the reason for the dim lighting. "

"Our room didn't have air. The people next door to us were so loud (after 11pm). When we approached the front desk, they acted like we were lying about the noise. Said there were no other rooms available. Eventually they changed our room at midnight. It was ridiculous. The pool room is tiny. Not a good experience."

"A great hotel, but I have to say that $64 a night for valet (There appears to be no self park) and the "Resort Fee" at hotel that is not and does not offer "Resort" level amenities is over the top. The resort fee is clearly because Denver/CO allows them to do it, so the hotel takes advantage of the opportunity to nickel and dime you for an extra $30 and change a night or offer you a price that is $30 a night less and then get you in the fine print. "My family enjoyed the pools. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were nice areas for walking near the hotel. Parking was included. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was within easy driving distance to Denver, Boulder, and Red Rocks. The lobby was spacious and clean, with a big TV lounge that had plenty of comfortable furniture for eating takeout food and relaxing. My wife liked her manicure."

"Everything was great overall but staying for a week, there was not nearly enough storage space in our room to unpack anything. Also would have loved a microwave in the room. Ice and water machine were really finicky and didn’t work on my floor so I had to travel to different floors to fill up (though I really didn’t mind most of the time). The gym was fully loaded and had gorgeous views of the mountains and city, but would have loved an updated treadmill with more entertainment features on it....
