"Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Lounge area was lovely and if it had soft music playing would have been even better. This hotel is not for people who have difficulty with slopes or steps as it’s on the top of a hill and a fair walk from anything. The hotel rooms (we had a sea view room) are tired and need painting and mould and mildew spraying in the bathroom. The bed was comfy and the bedding and towels clean and soft. "Clean and comfy room, we slept wonderfully well! Nice hot shower, plenty of towels and a kettle in the room. We enjoyed walking to Scarborough Castle, St. Mary’s church and around the Pier from this location. Thank you for a lovely stay! "

"Lovely hotel shabby chicbut you don’t worry about as pets are allowed ! Staff lovely and Tea & coffee etc free 24/7 plus free cake at 3pm ish… close to everything and a great view if your on a sea view room. Huge family rooms bathrooms are a little small but still OK would defo go back 9/10 ! Bad bit iPads for check in don’t work loose them not needed staff are much nice reception ! "
