This is a great place to stay with an easy drive into Scarborough for the Open Air Theatre. Staff were welcoming and helpful and the room was very well presented and comfortable. Excellent parking too.

Very easy check in very clean rooms had evening meal before going out small menu but very good quality food easy to get back in hotel after coming back when closed Had breakfast the next morning lots of choice with cereals yogurts fruit and more before full cooke breakfast

A nice hotel with a good sized room, very nice staff & good parking. The hotel is perhaps in need of some modernisation in terms of bathroom facilities, room temperature control & outside areas but has a nice location and aspect.

Hotel was lovely, staff very friendly and welcoming. Food good, service excellent apart from Saturday morning breakfast which was a bit disorganised. Everything in the courtyard rooms (dog friendly) was great. Very clean, showers worked well, hot water etc. everything you expect but don’t always get. Also a good location. Would return.

Charming Inn with all modern amenities and a good selection of breakfast, lunch and evening meals served in the restaurant, conservatory or chill nook. Comfy sofas and views across the beautifully maintained gardens. I had a very good sleep in the comfortable bed. Rooms are spacious (23). I requested a ground floor, walk in shower room and was allocated exactly what I’d hoped for. The WiFi worked well, which is surprising, because my friends in other nearby hotels experienced issues with not being able to connect. All in all a lovely place to stay, dog friendly and the staff are extremely helpful, pleasant and polite. I would recommend this place and will rebook when I’m next in Scarborough.

We found the staff very friendly, had a lovely meal in the restaurant with the staff very attentive. The room we were allocated was room 6, a cozy double room even so a chair of some kind would have been useful and yes there was enough room for one. It had a great shower but a shelf in the cubicle would be of great advantage. It would have been helpful to be advised in the advertising of the room that the window in the room was frosted so there were no views from the room.

I stayed for a night on 4 July 26 with my sister and we had a lovely time, the hotel was cosy and the staff welcoming. We had a double en-suite room each and the rooms were cosy and well decorated and furnished. The bathrooms were modern and the showers were great. The beds were so comfy, we slept so well. Breakfast was great and they made me vegetarian sausages. The staff were wonderful. We will be returning . It was great value for money too.

A good base to get in to Scarborough. Breakfast was good, we had dinner too which was ok but certainly nothing special. Rooms were lovely, although the ceiling was thin so you can hear anybody moving in the room above. It was generally clean but there were forgotten about areas, eg back of the shower screen. Nice bar, beer garden. We'd go back

Staff lovely, breakfast very nice. Bed in room 8 feels like you are at sea it is so wobbly. Cannot switch the radiator off in thee bathroom and the room was too hot even with windows open and no reception staff after 8pm. When the staff are there they are pleasant, helpful and retrieve items left behind on benches when guests leave them behind as they got into a taxi. Thank you Hannah, for helping with this also helping my daughter who required some personal hygiene products left at home.

I booked a double room but we were checked into a twin with no availability to move. The room was a good size with plenty of space for clothes. Unfortunately the beds were not that comfortable and there was no shower gel in the dispenser. The bathroom, however was beautifully appointed with a lovely shower and basin. Breakfast was nice, although they kept running out of things - but these were replaced with a bit of a wait which was no problem to us as we weren't on a time limit, but could have been problematic if you were. All in all it did the job and the staff were lovely

Room was very small and dated creaky floorboards and could hear everything from room next door. Very noisy from people leaving pub and revving motorbike outside room noise went on until the early hours if it wasn’t too late we would have left. Me and my partner never slept at all wouldn’t stay again
