"We booked the hotel through Expedia for a cycle event in Wincanton. The location was perfect. Our room was huge and had an external door allowing access to the exterior. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed the meal. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked too. All staff were pleasant and sociable to us. Would happily stay again."

"The staff were lovely. The room had some issues. The lighting was poor especially the communal corridor. Couldnt see to insert the door key. No facial tissues. The dressing table was unstable and wobbled. Breakfast was excellent, dinner not so. My main portion was paltry. A discount of £2.40 was offered as compensation, not enough. "The service of the staff was excellent and car parking is free. However, the plug sockets next to the bed required moving the bedside tables, so if you want to use any electrical devices whilst in bed, you had to use the sockets across the room. The toilet positioned in the room were too close to the wall and the handles to open the windows were loose and call fall out anytime. "

In fact all the staff where very helpful (Tsekani maintenance man) was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and plenty to eat very enjoyable.
