"This is a charming hotel with a lovely view of the river, the weir and green fields and hills. The working water wheel is especially appealing. Very peaceful and quiet, but only minutes from Bath City Centre, either walking or via convenient bus stops. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, pleasant place to stay."

"Wij kwamen pas begin van de avond aan, en werd vriendelijk ontvangen door de dame van de receptie. Kamer was op de bovenste verdieping en was schoon en zag er mooi uit. Wij hebben daar ontbeten. Er was een ruime keuze eten en drinken. Was erg lekker. Zeker een aanrader."

"Everything about this charming countryside retreat was what we hoped for and more. The staff was a welcoming and alsways there to help. The food was delicious and better than we expected. Our room generously sized, modern and comfortably appointed. (We did request a fan though as there’s no air conditioning, and the staff was quick to oblige.) "Parking was limited but luckily got a space, a bit of a faff to sort but explained really well. Room needs some modifying, bathroom ceiling was quite bad, skirting board falling off in bathroom and the flush was hard. "

"Loved this place and the people. It is a little far from main attractions, Salisbury and Stonehenge. About 10-15 miles. But it is so charming. Food is fantastic and building is historic. Be sure to have right converters for plugging things in as there are no USB ports in the rooms. No AC and we arrived during a short heat wave. Bed very comfortable and the soaking tub in the room was great for cooling down."

A wonderful old building so there are some oddly shaped corridors as you'd expect but they only add charm to what is already a fabulous location and venue.
