We stayed here for a few days while visiting family in the area so we were only at the rental through breakfast and an hour or two in the evening before going to bed. "Rose River Cottage is a gem! The outdoor spaces are so nice and the fenced in yard was a treat for our pup that you don’t find at many properties. Beth is a great host; she promptly responded to all questions and really wanted to be sure we had all the comforts and amenities we wanted or needed. A few days prior to check in, got a text of the house manual. It was a ton of rules of things NOT to do and specific instructions about the hot tub. Except for one thing. "We came here for a family winter vacation. This was a charming place to stay! We not only enjoyed the accommodations but the location of the farmhouse its self. It was close to places like walmart and the small town shopping of Fayetteville. We enjoyed the views of New River Gorge, and the falling snow in Snowshoe mountin.
