"We came to ride the trails. I liked that we did not have to trailer the machines to the trail head on 2 of the 3 trail systems that we went to. Myrna and family are very friendly. Always asked if we needed anything. They allowed us to arrive early and hang out in the plentiful parking area. This allowed us and our pet to stretch our legs while she was cleaning the place for us. Town’s people are friendly and very appreciative of our business."

"We stayed here for 3 nights to see the NRG. The carriage house is an older place and had charm. Nothing fancy but served it’s purpose and was clean. Location to the park was great but we didn’t get to the southern end. ACE is very close if you have an excursions there."

"We loved this place! Full of period pieces and comfort. We came to town to just see beautiful Charleston and cycle. It is close to beautiful paths on the river and by the Capital and downtown. Lovely old houses to see, and the State Capital grounds. Apartment is carefully appointed with everything you need. Bed is comfy, tv works great, nice linens, glassware, coffeemaker. "The apartment was nice. But the kitchen needed more supplies. No baking sheets for our pizza. No mittens or towels or wash clothes for the kitchen. The towels were new and still had the plastic pieces that held the tags. The mattress needs replacing. Not a single picture on the walls. Needs to few more cozy."

"The house was very clean and nicely decorated. I was particularly pleased with the beds. They were very comfortable. There was everything we needed although bath mats for the showers would be nice. I was a little surprised that there wasn’t any soap for the showers, something we have found in other VRBO rentals. The host Roger, was very helpful and responded to my questions very quickly. "Very quite place way back from noise and business of city life. We were very busy with what we were doing but the campground around us looked peaceful. The cabin seemed newly built and had new furnishings. The only thing that was missing was a normal sized shower. The shower was very tiny and for the money it was overpriced. Other than that it was a good deal. "
