Casa Pelicano is a newly reconstructed modern concrete home with classy features and plush amenities. The house is situated on the north shore of the island, close to Isabel II, the Vieques Downtown and Plaza. The ferry is a short 7-minute walk, and restaurants, bars and groceries are within walking reach. The outside of the house is gated for your privacy, and a second-story wrap-around balcony sits high for you to enjoy sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean facing the main island of Puerto Rico. Enjoy cooking in the open kitchen with all the amenities, including pots, pans, utensils, coffee pot and InstaPot®. Enjoy sleeping on King size beds with cool a/c's and blackout curtains. Sleek bathrooms with step-in showers are well-lit from the morning sun to the East, and with hot and cold water. The living room accommodates 2 guests on a sofa bed. High speed internet is provided for guests of Casa Pelicano. Coin-operated laundry is available on the property.

Vieques is a small Caribbean island off the east coast of Puerto Rico, and does require additional travel and Planning. To get to Vieques from San Juan, you can fly or ferry. It is highly recommended to book vehicle rentals well in advance, as the island does tend to run out of appropriate Jeeps/Broncos.

Vieques is magical, and recommendations for the following can be provided for your consideration: biobay tour companies, horseback riding tours, snorkel guides, beaches, restaurants, private chef experience, yoga, masseuse, etc.

Relax in Paradise

My family have come back to this lovely home for a 2nd yr. We are adults and 4 kids under 12 yrs. We are super comfortable in this very cool home which has fabulous views of the ocean and surrounding area. The horses, chickens, cats, iguanas add to the ambiance. The owners are super nice people. We can't wait to see them again next year!

Beautiful modern hillside retreat

We enjoyed our stay at this property in Vieques. The two bathrooms and three bedrooms (each with King size beds) was more than enough space for our family of four. Sleeping was fairly comfortable with AC in the bedrooms. The common living area has a modern / industrialist design. It seems like the perfect place for a group of two or three couples to vacation while visiting the island. It's a bit less well suited for families with kids, but was still fine. Overall one of the better options on Vieques, especially for vacationing adults.

The owners are friendly, respectful, accommodating and extremely helpful. The house is everything I could ask for, comfortable with the feel of the culture in Vieques. My family had a wonderful vacation and will surely return.

Designer house with all amenities

This property lived up to the photos online. Eduardo has done everything to make sure your stay will be perfect. The hilltop location provides a great view and cool breezes all day and evening. A very well equipped kitchen allowed us to enjoy meals at home when we didn’t feel like going out to eat. Beds, pillows and linens are all top quality and the bathroom fixtures are great. As is common in Vieques, animals (cats, chickens, roosters and iguanas) freely roam the property, but there is air conditioning in the bedrooms if you don’t want to be awakened by their nighttime calling. Horses are shut out by closing the driveway gates. Eduardo was quickly available by text if we had any questions. We enjoyed the entire week at Casa Paradiso and hope we can return again.

Best Trip Ever

Well appointed property within walking distance to town and a beautiful view of the water. Hosts went above and beyond to see that we not only had everything we needed, but were extremely responsive & helpful with food & activity recommendations as well as guidance with navigating the in’s and out’s of the island.

Excellent Isabella II Vieques Rental

We had wonderful week in Vieques thanks to our host. He is gracious, attentive and responsive. The house is situated about a ¼ mile from the Plaza. It is relatively quiet but you can hear the sounds of Vieques- coqui and roosters! The linens are excellent and the beds are comfortable. The sunset view from the veranda makes it all worthwhile.
