A clean home in a quiet residential area. A public busline and a couple small bakery/coffee shops a block away. Within 1.3 kms of walking is the ICBC licensing office (one direction) and a London Drugs (different direction) and numerous other shops and restaurants. The hosts were very considerate and unobtrusive, but helpful when asked. And the room cost was very good. If I'm ever in Vancouver again, this will be my first choice of accommodations.

Loved the location and character of the home. The quiet neighbourhood felt safe and private. A little home away from home in a beautiful city, will be back!

This is a small family-run guesthouse with very friendly and helpful hosts. Everyone was welcoming and always willing to help. The main advantages are the simple breakfast provided, the convenient location not far from downtown, and the affordable price. On the downside, the room was quite small and the accommodation was fairly basic. Overall, the stay was okay, but the accommodation and overall experience were fairly average. A good option if you are looking for a budget-friendly place with a friendly atmosphere and a convenient location.

I did not think that the pictures were accurate, very tight quarters for room we were in. Host Lisa was wonderful, the bathroom was a good size, breakfast every morning.

It was nice to have a private bedroom with a locking door and private bathroom. This is an older house and not much living space to use. Breakfast was adequate but not as pictured. Located on a quiet street with street parking.

When we arrived we were escorted by a child to a bedroom that looked nothing like what they advertised. Our room was tiny, barely room to walk around the beds. The livingroom, shared space, also looked nothing like what was advertised. We left the first night and did not return.

Location was nice and quiet, and close to transit. Bed was comfy. A private washroom was promised but the youngest son and his friend used it when they weren’t supposed to during the first two days of our stay. The host herself was pleasant and helpful, but as this was a family home, the younger members of the household could be noisy at times, and the B&B room did not feel very private being as it was situated by the front door of the house. There was nothing special about breakfast: some cereal, yoghurt, Dempsters bread and store-bought croissants. The eggs, however, were fresh. The photos belied the actual state of the house, which is in need of much maintenance. The floors outside the bedroom were not recently cleaned, and the bedroom was smaller and in greater disrepair than advertised. The room seems more suitable for a student renter than for B&B accommodations. The place simply did not have the comfort and professionalism of a B&B, though we appreciate that the host was trying to make it work.

The room was very smelly - since this seems to be an old house the smell says it all. The blankets, bedsheets and pillows were stinky. The toilet inside the room, however, is clean. Supplies are provided. Breakfast is very very basic - eggs (you need to order), bread, cereals, oranges and bananas. There are also yogurt and milk. Coffee, tea, etc. My son smelled the milk container and it's not as fresh - a bit stinky already. So they both did not availed the breakfast the next morning. There is no laundry available for guests to use which is fine since this is a bed and breakfast setup. Lisa is very nice and helpful during breakfast hours. Overall, our stay was okay. I suggest that the room be cleaned more and linens blankets and pillows be sanitized, washed and dried properly. The place has a nice location.

No hospitality or reception to deal with. Conditions in the room unsatisfactory, bath towels are smelly. The blankets for cover body is dirty. Unfortunately same time weather is cold. Nobody there cared about this. Disappointed !!!
