"Our room at the Universal was very well maintained, clean and with a nice cool temperature for a late heatwave in Barcelona. Their friendly staff allowed us an early check-in, which made our life easier on arrival. We did not have breakfast at the hotel restaurant or tried the pool, but they gave us all the info we needed in case we wanted to make use of these amenities. It was a short and sweet stay in a very convenient location."

"unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing.The bed sheets had visible blood stains,and there was mold on bathroom walls. The stuff was very unfriendly and rude.To make things worse, at the check-in they proudly told us that one bottle of water was complimentary.Seriously? with the condition of the room, that was the least of our concerns. I wouldn't recommend this hotel."

"Incredibly helpful staff allowed for storage of luggage and early check in as well as to borrow a converter because we left ours at the last hotel. Rooms are incredibly well decorated, roomy and lovely views. Breakfast was amazing, a great way to start our day! Great location. Staff went over and above!
