Great location in Shibuya (maybe a 10 minute walk from Shibuya Station and Scramble Square). There is a cute coffee place right next door, a 7-11 2 blocks away and Life grocery store is about 3 blocks away. The unit was a good size for Tokyo, but if you’re tall it might be challenging to take a shower (there is a small bath available). No problems communicating with the host. If you’re unable to find the place with Google Maps just put in Woodberry Coffee Shibuya, which is right next door.

Really nice place, stayed for solo travel. Can fit at most 3 to be comfortable but any more and it would be pretty cramped. Definitely recommend for those solo traveling or small group.

A great apartment in the mix of Tokyo

This is a great spot to land if you want to be close in to fabulous eating and shopping! Super convenient and easy to navigate from to reach other parts of Tokyo. We are a family of three and the apartment was just right. It is a Tokyo size apartment so come with expectations of smaller space. There is a great coffee/breakfast shop right around the corner! A great place to start the day of touring and sightseeing!

Really good location in Shibuya. Equidistant between Ebisu and Shibuya stations just off Meiji- Doro St, which runs between the two stations. Leave Shibuya at exit 3a and you are on the right side of the street, past Kinko, Starbucks, Life store. That gives you options for travel as everything is very scattered in Tokyo. Turn left at dry cleaners (coming from Shibuya), right at the 7-11, Bear left at woodberry cafe and it’s on your right once past parking sign. Look for Anon B. There is a collection of mailboxes that Ko will send you the code for. Says for five but really only two adults two small children Stairs far too steep for anyone with mobility or balance issues. Tiny kitchen and bathroom. One hot plate and micro and good washing machine. Owner very friendly and helpful but limited English. Quiet residential area but close to lots of restaurants and 3 min walk to Life supermarket.

Great location - good for 2-3 people

Property is in a great location. It’s in a quiet part of a neighborhood, that is easy to find and has a cafe, 7-11, and other conveniences right around the corner. We had no notable issues with our stay and overall can recommend the property with a few notes, particularly for western travelers.1. The apartment is well stocked but small. It had everything we needed for our short 3-day stay but it’s definitely a tight squeeze for 3 people. 2. My biggest note is it says it sleeps 5 but imo this would not be practical. Despite saying we had four people- and being charged for 4- there is one futon downstairs and the equivalent of two twin beds upstairs. It couldn’t sleep 4 comfortably let alone 5 and our 4th person opted to get a hotel when we arrived bc there really was not a sleeping space for a 4th person.3. A big plus was that the upstairs sleeping are beds with mattresses. They are somewhat thin by western standards but much better for us than bedrolls and we slept well and the downstairs futon was comfortable. For price point and location, I felt is was a great value and I would stay here again… but 2 people is ideal, 3 is doable, 4 or more imo is a non starter unless 2 are small children that can share a small futon.

Great for families

Stayed here with our family of 4 (wife and two teenagers) in early Mar and we had a comfortable stay. It slept 3 upstairs in the loft and one person slept on the sofa bed. This worked for us but if you have older people with mobility issues, it may be hard to climb. The accommodations inside was clean. Toilet was separate from the shower/sink area so that's convenient. We used the washing machine in the apartment. It doesn't machine dry but there was a clothing rack for us to dry overnight. Kitchen has a microwave hot water kettle, sink, fridge and stove though we didn't use much of it. It's situated in a quiet residential neighborhood but only 10 mins away from Shibuya Crossing. Close by has many convenience stores and a couple of nice coffee shops. There's also a supermarket within 5 mins from the apartment and local restaurants that's away from the touristy ones in Shibuya.I didn't get to meet our host Ko but he was communicative on the VRBO app and answered my questions immediately. I was a little confused about unlocking the key box and he took some more photos so i could understand. He also knew i had kids and asked what anime they liked and left a couple of gifts for them. They're was also a large bottle water for us at arrival. It rained on one of the days and so glad that there were umbrellas available too.

Central Shibuya Stay

This property is in a great neighborhood - just far away enough from the Shibuya craziness to feel more local but also close to a lot of the sites! The place is small. We were fairly cramped as a family of 4, but to be expected in Tokyo! We were also barely ever there- just needing a place to sleep. My husband and I took the beds upstairs and our kids shared the futon downstairs. Staircase leading to the loft is steep- might not be great for younger kids. The shower was easy to use and the tiny kitchen was functional. The place was very clean. Cannot say enough great things about the location. Thank you, Ko!

Great location and central to train lines.

The rental is centrally located to Shibuya station, which allows you to connect to most of the key train lines. There are a number of nice restaurants within a short walk and a trendy coffee shop right beside the unit.The apartment is a loft style, so there isn't much space for a family of 4 - especially if you have lots of luggage. However, it was clean and in a newer building.

Great Stay With a Ton of Restaurants

This room was great. Very clean and centrally located. The finishes were very stylish as well! Super relaxing to come back to after a long day. Check out Woodberry down the block for early morning coffee and food.

Safe and Secure stay in Shibuya ku

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood a block away from the main street. The building is secure, and the unit is clean, comfortable and modern. Many amenities are included. Many options for meals within short walking distances, and great convenience stores nearby that offer anything you need. Mr. Ishikawa is a great host, and I highly recommend his property.
