Would not recommend as a vacation stop

This property is not a good “vacation” stay for the price they charge. The carpet was dirty and stained and there were dead roaches in the cabinets. There was also rat feces where some of the pans were. I had to tighten down parts of the bunk beds in order to make it safe for my toddler to sleep in. There was also no hand soap in the guest room and no shampoo in the master bathroom. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and I feel like we drastically overpaid. This may be a good place to stay long term for work but it’s definitely not a vacation home.

Enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is in need of some repairs on the floor. Not a deal breaker. Still a convenient place to be when vacationing to do things in mobile. Comfortable beds and clean.

Not what we expected

First night was alright, but we were surprised by the general lack of necessities. Only one bottle of hand soap for 3 sinks and the provided supplies were minimal and the lowest quality possible. There weren’t even trash bags, zero cleaning supplies, no dish rags, one towel in the kitchen. Some of the towels had such bad staining that it looked like they have been used to scrub the floor. Speaking of floors, the entry way to the master bedroom was uneven and I tripped and fell into the room face first. Can we talk about ALL the bugs? The bugs were unreal, ants, roaches and giant spiders! And the open vents in the ceiling, and the vents with the mold? How about the lack of anywhere to put your clothes? No dressers, no hangers. Water pressure is basically nonexistent. Just not a great location if you want to feel clean and relaxed. There wasn’t even the most basic of cooking seasonings like salt and pepper. I travel A LOT and stay in rentals for 90% of my stays. This was hands down the worst as far and would not recommend it to anyone. Especially considering how much for we paid for how very little we had. I am sure that I am forgetting something.

Family Wedding Weekend

We stayed with 8 adults and all slept comfortably in the house. There was plenty of room for us. Not sure if it was just us or the 90+ degree heat mixed with some steamy rain showers, but there seemed to be an ant problem. The bathrooms and kitchen mostly were the problem areas. House could use a few minor updates but overall was a nice place to stay and close to all the places we needed to go. We had a 10 min drive to a coffee shop, 40 min or so drive to Dauphin island where we spent part of a day, and only 20 min to the wedding venue at Hermitage Rippy Estate. Overall pleasant and worked for what we needed for a quick weekend getaway!

Great place will stay again!!

House was clean and spacious. We really enjoyed drinking our coffee on the screened in porch in the mornings. Everything was a nice and quiet. Close enough to Mobile to not havw a super far drive. We will definitely be back!!

Very spacious ranch house

Convenient for our family get together. Family travelled from Diamondhead MS and Gulf Breeze Fl. We wanted to go to TopGolf and it was just 15 minutes from the property. Having four bedrooms at a reasonable price was much appreciated. The huge flatscreen TVs in 3 of the bedrooms was fantastic! We enjoyed our stay.

Nice but a little disappointing

The outside was an immediate turn off. The yard was overrun with unmanaged shrubbery. We were skeptical about walking up the walkways. The back yard and deck was outdated and not appealing. The inside was much closer to what was expected. The rooms were nicer and the beds pretty comfortable. We did have a problem with ants and something was trapped in the walls the first night, maybe a gopher or squirrel. Otherwise nice space for family time. Location not the best for Mobile but doable.

Clean home with plenty of space for everyone

We had an amazing experience and would definitely stay again. The only thing that we didnt realize before we got there was that there were no supplies in the kitchen like cooking oil or seasonings or coffee. There was a store down the road though so nothing too serious.

Great Home for the weekend

The house was just as pictured and had plenty of space for our family. The shower was large and has wonderful water pressure. The appliances were all new and very nice. Large tvs in every room and very clean bathrooms. The beds were so comfortable we hated to get up and leave on the last day. We will definitely be staying here again if we are back in the area!

Short Weekend Bellingrath Gardens Trip

We were visiting the area and met family there. The house is older, but spacious and clean. We had room to easily park 3 vehicles with room to spare. The location was good for the activities we were doing. Very friendly exchange with getting messages and check in information.

Perfect location

Very spacious, loved that it had plenty of room for my husband to get around in his wheelchair, loved that it had ramps and carport to park under, very nice quiet neighborhood, would definitely recommend and stay here again

Clean and efficient stay

We had a very good experience. The house was very clean, the 4 bedroom layout was great for 4 adults with the open floor plan with dining/living room. We really enjoyed our stay.
