"This hotel is a must stay gem close to all the happenings in midtown, but on quieter, charming street! We received an upgrade to a king suite and it was absolutely phenomenal! Two bedrooms and a private balcony - completely unexpected and so special for a birthday trip! The staff is super friendly, entrance is private and intimate, with very friendly staff! Easy breakfast at the quaint restaurant next door. Would absolutely love to stay here again!! Thank you!"

"The cafe downstairs is very pricey even though you’re supposed to get 10% off as a guest (not sure if they added that) but two breakfast sandwiches and orange juice was $53…..yeah Other than that, the room had a very nice view of Times Square as advertised. "Such great hotel all around. Great location, I had a beautiful view from my 10th floor room. I traveled solo and felt very safe at the Civilian. Walking distance to Broadway shows, Central Park, Hell' Kitchen and Times Square! Staff was also so helpful and welcoming."

Reception provided bottles or water, complimentary. The bar was fun, and service and food delicious. We had breakfast each morning and it was amazing. You must try the multigrain bread. Fabulous! "The rooms were clean, pillows were soft and fluffy, crisp clean sheets and top blankets. The ORGANIC KIND BRAND shampoo and conditioner, lotion and bodywash was a nice added surprise. Check in, is 3 pm,however they do offer a complimentary bag Check service until your room is ready for Check in, which is very helpful, especially with timed activities. "The location of the Hyatt Regency is outstanding due to its proximity to subway stations and theaters! The property is clean, updated, and the room size is huge by New York standards. The staff was helpful, friendly, and professional. We had our room serviced/cleaned every day of our stay, which is rare these days. There was coffee available in the lobby and an on-site restaurant. We did not use the restaurant, but it did seem to be nice. We even had a partial water view!I highly recommend this...

"Clean, great location. Rooms are not huge but the ceilings are very high so it makes it feel much more open."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The door to the wardrobe in my room was broken so I didn't feel great about using it. The doors to the room are really heavy and when they close its really loud, especially in a quiet hallway. I don't mind getting up early, but being woken up by a slamming door kinda sucked. The staff seemed a little standoffish but maybe thats just midtown. The price definitely reflects the location more than anything else. The location was great."
