"Breakfast was amazing and well enjoyed with a variety to choose from. Restaurant staff were great, exceptional customer service from Vikki and the manager Ellie.
Reception desk staff were very helpful amd accommodating.
Family room.was okay, good size, hiwver the bathroom was old and bath didnt look very clean, toliet was hard to flush, but overall a great stay and would recommend."

"My daughter and I stayed for two nights, while visiting my son. The hotel from the staff to amenities to location were spot on.
The positives:The staff, from reception to housekeeping, were lovely, friendly but not pushy. The amenities: pool was gorgeous, not too warm but not cold either, I’d recommend going early so you can fantasise that’s it’s your own. The rooms were spotless clean, towels big enough to cover a curvy person and so fluffy. Bonus for the biscuits. Breakfast was buffet style,...

"The staff were friendly. Free parking was a bonus. The hotel has a gym/spa that is well run and the facilities were great. The hotel has a bar/restaurant which we did not eat at because the prices were very high. There is also a Starbucks in the lobby.
I would highly suggest upgrading your room to a club room. These rooms are in a different section of the hotel and come with, late checkout, a coffee maker, and gym/spa access..plus this area was quieter.
The only thing that put us off was...

"There was hair in the bath so I couldn’t have a shower but my partner still had a shower and then we checked out around 3 instead of the actual time which was 11 the stafff was amazing very welcoming I would like to come again but I hope the room will be more clean when visiting as I did enjoy the pool and the garden "

"Booked in early January, some hours later, on the same day, messaged hotel asking for a cancellation, because I realised that possibly I wouldn't be able to make these dates or even the city due to personal circumstances. Even with more than one month in advance, the hotel refused to cancel and refund the booking;
We were a big group, booked 3 different rooms; we paid different £ for the rooms, but got exactly the same room size/ layout and facilities.
We could feel a smell of old and musty...

If you prefer a quality burger you need to look elsewhere they only seem to have the cheap meat style. The staff were nice. Make sure you get service from Cam... Top bloke "

"This was the second time to visit The Blue Boar. They had a problem beyond their control in that the boiler broke so we had three dsys with no hot water . The rest of our stay was great . Steve front of house manager was great and keeps things running like clockwork. Lucas the barman is an asset to the establishment what an absolutely nice person . "We loved our stay at Hampton Manor. The rooms were so comfortable and the hotel is set in beautiful grounds. The most memorable part were the staff at the hotel. They went above and beyond to make our stay as relaxing and easy as possible. They had thought through all the details that make things extra special. We also asked for recommendations in Birmingham and Beth was incredibly helpful and we loved her lunch suggestion. We would love to return some day! Thank you Hampton Manor."
