You'll check into your suite with the use of a keypad deadbolt with a code unique to you and your stay for added safety and security. You will have access to the entire suite as well as the outdoor courtyard area.

The Historic Corner House (formerly the N.R. Lee House) was originally built in 1867 and is registered with the Wisconsin Historical Society and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This space is a renovated lower level apartment.

If you're staying in Sturgeon Bay, you won't need to get in your car during the warm months. You simply can't beat our location! There is a dedicated parking spot for the Courtyard Suite, and driving to the rest of the Door Peninsula is very convenient.

One of the best features of this property is its central location in Sturgeon Bay. Within just a few minutes' walk, you can reach the water or Third Avenue, where you'll find a range of shopping and dining options. Please note that as this is a downtown location, you may experience some typical "downtown sounds" during the day.

This is a lower level (basement) apartment. You'll have a few steps down from the front entrance of the suite. The beautiful old foundation walls have been preserved and integrated into the design of this one-of-a-kind design.

Perfect Location

Large, comfortable, and well equipped room one block from downtown Sturgeon Bay. Walking distance to good food, shopping, and the bay. Convenient to everything!

Excellent location and host but not quite what we expected

This property is basically the basement of a very old home. The remodel created a beautiful kitchen area with modern appliances. However there were several things that were really not expected. The garbage was full in the kitchen when we arrived with garbage from the previous guests who had checked out 2 days before we arrived. The door to the bathroom did not shut! You had to slam it hard in order to get it stuck partially closed to get a little privacy which is not good at all. Also the doors to the storage in the bathroom did not close either. There was no place to hand any face towels by the small sink so we had to drape them over the non-closable storage doors! The lighting was very bright and there were no bedside lamps or light switches so you had to get up to turn off the lights and then struggle to get back in bed in complete darkness. There also was no clock on any nightstand so you had no idea what time it was during the evening. You also could hear the people walking in the unit above this one. The fireplace had a panel on the front that was loose and looked like it could fall off any minute. Many of these issues had been written in the guest book from previous guests, but apparently they do not read the book or simply have not gotten around to fixing them yet. The entire unit is up for sale which might explain the lack of urgency for minor repairs. The hosts were very nice. Just was hoping for something with a bit more class.
