"The hotel staff was exceptional. The bed was probably the most comfortable during my 3.5 week stay in NZ! We were very lucky and had a room on the 23rd floor (corner room) with an amazing view of the harbor. The room was quite, clean and super comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"Reception staff were very welcoming, friendly and most importantly their smiles seemed genuine. Instructions for the basement car parking was made very clear. Note to management: give the girls a nicer uniform, make it modern and get rid of the grey colour. The girls smiles made up for the dull uniform.
The first room I was allocated, was clean but the bathroom door was not hung well. This created a wide gap between the wall and door whereby personal privacy in the bathroo was an issue....

"The front desk was attentive when I asked for the kettle to be changed out. It was very useful to have access to laundry facilities for free if you do not have them in your room, you just need your own detergent or can ask staff to provide (not sure if they ask for a fee for that).
Staff were friendly and I loved the room. The breakfast was fine, but perhaps could do with more variety as the days I went there it was the same each time. Maybe a buffet dinner as an option for one free meal each...

"Our favorite place to stay, convenient to everything, the staff are lovely, if your a SHOW member at Skycity then even better. Cheaper or FREE parking depending on the status of your membership. There is a nice terrace outside (where you can vape or smoke), a gym with basic gear (still better than nothing) a sauna and spa. The restaurants are yummy. The East Day Spa is an amazing, beautiful treat. We can't wait to stay again. Highly recommend and its even better when Expedia have a special."

"This stay wasn’t as good as my last as this room didn’t have a seat and table. Had I known rooms of the same standard have different layouts, I would have asked for one with a seat and small table. This room was much smaller than last time and I wondered if I’d had a first time experience that wasn’t to be repeated."

"The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location. Close to Queen Street, skytower the waterfront.
Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
The shower could do with a little more water pressure and there were a few broken tiles that need replacing but other than that thr room was great.
We had dinner amd breakfast at the restaurant and both were very tasty and enjoyable."
