"Our room was fantastic and clean. The pool and spa needs a little upkeep with missing tiles in the pool and many loose rocks in the spa which also doesn't have back jets (still enjoyable though). The concierge on arrival was delightful! On checkout there were charges made from the bar and restaurant that weren't from us, so had to be checked and rechecked! We did not use the restaurant and only used our complimentary drink vouchers (which were a lovely surprise). The parking was easy and...

"Such a surprising little hidden gem that had everything you need. Comfy beds and friendly staff. Bonus is the Glen hotel pub as the food is amazing. "

"Room was clean and surprisingly quiet next to the main road. Rooftop area has great views of the city. Disappointed that there was not enough spaces available for me to park in the secure basement carpark and often had to find a car space a block or two away from the hotel. A few issues with keys not working and the room not set up according to our booking which was a challenge for staff to attend to until the following day."

"The difficulty with this accommodation is that it sits between one-way streets. The entry is in one street and the car park in another. I did appreciate having the car in secure parking. When it was time to leave I had to find a way to get out of the carpark, which I needed the key for and then travel a few blocks in order to come in via the one-way streets to hand in the key via the other entrance. I did suggest that the hotel considers putting a key deposit box at the exits for the car parks....

"The Stamford was an outstanding hotel to stay in. Our room was excellent, the bed was terrific and the bathroom was absolutely top notch. The breakfast (included) was everything you could hope for. We would be very happy to stay again."
