"Kitchen could use a k cup coffee maker and large frying pan. Light bulb on microwave was out. Clock on stove was broken and the stove said hot surface even when it was never turned. Upstairs toilet kept running. Basement carpet had some stains. All just minor things that need attention. Overall really loved the place. Hope to come back next year!"

"thank you for letting our multigenerational family stay. it was the perfect place to land when traveling for thanksgiving. we all had our own space but found lots of time in the cozy living room and around the kitchen island. will be back soon and most def will see if this house has an opening! "

"Great location in Eastham near Orleans. Surf Shack Hideaway is not a shack, but rather a very large uncomfortable house to stay in. Would come back again, especially if managed by Heart of the Cape who kept everything clean and had quick communications."

The home is in a very central Cape Cod location making it easy for us to have maximized our vacation to see and enjoy everything from the lower to the upper cape and Martha’s Vineyard. We highly recommend a trip to Provincetown, Martha’s Vineyard and Chatham. Eat at Caroline's nearby and hit as many ice cream places as time permits, esp if you’re from California like we are, as nothing beats the local fresh dairy creme out there! "This house is in an excellent location with very close proximity to Chatham village, Oyster Pond and Lighthouse Beach. It was easy to go for a run in the morning and stop for coffee on the way back! The house itself is clean and comfortable and has convenient laundry facilities. We would recommend it! "
