Quaint & Cozy Downtown Chatham Home, Walk to Town and Beaches

This charming and totally renovated (see updated pictures below) Chatham home is on a private road in a downtown neighborhood of exclusive homes. Its ideal location enables you to walk to Lighthouse Beach about (1/2 mile) and 1 block from downtown Chatham. Also, Oyster Pond Beach is a convenient 2 minute walk for a day at the beach. The two-story home is comprised of a living room, kitchen with breakfast bar, two bedrooms, sleeping porch with a daybed and a bath plus an outdoor shower.

Just around the corner is a large park for all kinds of outdoor activities. Enjoy the many activities that Chatham has to offer: upscale shops and restaurants, Friday night band concerts, fresh fish from the Chatham fish pier, and the popular Cape Cod Baseball League games. Downtown shopping is spectacular!!

From the communications with the host before the stay to the stay itself to check out, this was an amazing trip. We stayed here in the winter and the house was warm and cozy. The house is equipped with all a family needs for a restful and enjoyable stay- comfy beds, lots of games, etc. The power flickered during a snow storm (the whole town lost power for 2-3 minutes) and the boiler clicked off. The property manager was at the house in less than 10 minutes! James quickly set things right and we stayed toasty. Located right around the corner from Main Street, we were able to walk to restaurants, shops, and more. A wonderful house with great amenities and wonderful host.

This house is in an excellent location with very close proximity to Chatham village, Oyster Pond and Lighthouse Beach. It was easy to go for a run in the morning and stop for coffee on the way back! The house itself is clean and comfortable and has convenient laundry facilities. We would recommend it!

Home was very clean and comfortable. We stayed in the end of Sept. and I am VERY grateful for the AC units. Very convenient location to downtown. Easily parked two SUV's in the driveway. Comfortably sleeps four adults.

Perfect home in the perfect place

We love returning to this home every summer, and love Chatham! This home is beautiful. It's in a perfect location, a very close walk to everything downtown- all the shops & restaurants. We love the decor, beautifully east-coast. The home is quiet, clean, very comfortable and has all that you need. We return to it every year so that's our highest rating you can read from us!

Love this place!!

Great great great location. Super charming home. It worked perfectly for our family. Walk to shops and restaurants! I highly recommend. Host was lovely & easy to reach. We would’ve loved to utilize the properties outdoor space more. Other than that - it was terrific! Rent it now!

Wonderful Stay!

A really cute cottage in a fabulous location! We really enjoyed our stay and absolutely loved the neighborhood. The bedrooms are upstairs and the only bathroom is downstairs which wasn't a problem for us. The kitchen was well-equipped and the furnishings were comfortable.

Girls Trip

I rented this cottage for myself and two friends to extend a celebration with high school classmates in Kansas. I've been to Chatham many times so I knew the location would be perfect. We could walk to get coffee every morning and to the Squire - my favorite for chowder. Though we didn't cook, the house was well equipped for any meals you want to fix. It was clean and charming. I would definitely rent from Tom again!

Perfect location

Being in our 50's we didn't want to be out all night but we aren't dead yet. Chatham is a beautiful little town and this place is in a great spot. Tom went above and beyond with communication and his recommendations were great.

Amazing stay in Chatham

We’ve stayed at Tom’s place three years running because it is the perfect place to stay in Chatham. Just off downtown and a short walk to Oyster Pond, it can’t be beat. Tom is easy to communicate with and made us feel welcome. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

Perfect!

Beautiful house, perfect location, in the best spot on the Cape! We had another wonderful vacation in Chatham thanks to this absolutely great home. It was all that we needed and exactly as it was presented in the listing. The location could not be better, the house is darling and the neighborhood is ideallic! Not a thing to say other than it was a perfect week. Cannot wait to rebook!

Great location and beautiful cottage

We had a wonderful time staying in this cottage. It’s in a great location just a five minute walk from town. We didn’t have a car, and we were able to walk everywhere in Chatham. It’s about a mile to the lighthouse, and even less to the fish pier and beach. We heard no noise the whole time we were there (four nights), and we saw only two cars drive by the entire time. The cottage is bigger than it looks from the outside — good size living room, dining room, and kitchen plus a lovely sunroom on the first floor. Upstairs are two decent size bedrooms. The bathroom is downstairs and has a powerful shower and lots of hot water. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want. The decor is typical Chatham (nautical) and full of charm. The furniture is comfortable. We just loved it!

Sweet family spot for wedding weekend!

Tom is a terrific host! Very communicative and easy going … well-organized & clearly takes a lot of pride in ensuring an enjoyable stay for guests. The home is comfy, Cape living … just big enough for family if 4. One bathroom is only drawback … but makes for fun livin’. Great location. Would definitely come back!

Another Wonderful Week!

This was our family’s third year in this property and it never disappoints. Right in town, close to Oyster Pond and Lighthouse Beach, and the cottage has everything you would need for a week. Looking forward to returning next summer.
