Cozy Driftwood Chalet with Lake and Mountain views, perfect for Couples!

In any season, this is a perfect Romantic Get-Away for 2, yet roomy enough for two couples to have their own space. One Queen bed in the bedroom, and a second Queen bed and sitting area in the Loft.

Whether you want to snuggle in for a cozy Winter retreat, or relax on the deck on a hot summer day, the Driftwood Chalet is your home-away-from home!

Pristine lakeview Cabin, located in the Heart of the Shuswap, walking distance from the town of Sorrento, BC.

Open-concept 850 sq ft chalet-style lodging has lots of comfy seating to get away from it all. Vaulted ceilings, large windows and a spacious Loft take in the stunning views of Shuswap Lake and the surrounding mountains.

Large covered deck with gas fire-table and BBQ, surrounded by Nature in a park-like setting. Over 5 acres of property surround you, bring your snowshoes or hiking boots, and your Golf Clubs...?

GOLF on site!! We have built and maintain a 9 hole Golf Course as a hobby, completely on our own property! (It is NOT a public course)
Our registered Chalet guests are welcome to play or walk our golf course, as long as they are respectful. “Events” are NOT permitted. If you wish to invite a friend or family member who is not staying with you, please ask us first.
There are few right and left handed clubs at the first Tee, and lots of golf balls. There are course layout maps and score card for your use in the Chalet Binder.
Play a "round" for fun, or to warm up for one of the larger Public golf courses nearby!

Driftwood Chalet is tucked back from Blind Bay road for privacy, yet only 1 km to the Trans Canada highway for quick access.

Minutes away from the amenities of Sorrento and Blind Bay: groceries, restaurants, stores, beaches, parks, boat launches, and Marinas.

The closest public beach park is at the end of Gillespie Road, 900 metres away. It can be easily walked in about 10 minutes, or drive in under than 2 minutes! It is a small, local beach access park, a real hidden gem

Unfortunately, due to some safety concerns we have regarding small children (a set of steep stairs, rugged rock landscaping features) this property is not appropriate for young children.
In consideration of all future guests, we are unable to accommodate pets

Beautiful little cabin with a gorgeous view of the lake. Super easy check in, very nice hosts. We loved the decor, and the large dramatic windows overlooking the lake are so pretty. The cabin had everything we needed. Also - the Greek restaurant in town has excellent souvlaki!

Beautiful Spot

What a wonderful cabin, and an awesome location. The check in process was very straightforward. The directions to get to the cabin were clear and concise. The cabin was immaculate. It was stocked with everything you could need and more. The owners attention to detail is apparent. Lots of good information provided about the area. I look forward to another stay!!

Anniversary Getaway

From the moment I opened the door I was I love with the place and wished we could stay longer! Debbie and Blair are wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome. Their welcome binder is very detailed and provides all the information you would ever need about the chalet and surrounding area. We are already looking forward to our next visit!!

Birthday Getaway

My friend and I stayed at the chalet for my birthday. As soon as we drove up to the chalet we knew this was the perfect place. We visited Margaret Falls and hiked down to the beach. The chalet had everything we needed and the view was amazing. I will be going back. Shelly

Driftwood Chalet

Gorgeous little chalet with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Very very clean and well maintained. It’s very easy to get to from Hwy 1, just a steep driveway up! Kitchen has everything you need (even a coffee grinder which was perfect!). Comfy sofas and a TV with Netflix. The bathroom is spacious, super clean, with a full size tub/shower. Nice seating area with fire table on the deck. Only thing to note is there is no hot tub. Was not an issue for us though. Even though the property backs onto Hwy 1 the chalet has great sound proofing so it is very quiet and pleasant.

Great spot and value

Definately the best little retreat we have come across. Shops not far away and everything reasonably priced. Loved the cabin, modern and pleanty of room for 3. A good book, a great view, cozy by the fire. Hope the golf course gets finished :)

Great place for a get away

The chalet was spotless, in a beautiful location and had everything we needed and more. Easy to find and communicate with hosts. Hoping to go back and enjoy this beautiful spot again another time (we needed to cut our stay short).
