You do not need to leave the resort for anything. They have everything in the store you could need. The restaurant was amazing too! "We stayed at this property in May with a group of ladies and it was such a lovely stay! Such beautiful views, we loved staring at the water during the day and sitting around the fire table at night. The only thing that I could see being an issue is that the house is quite loud/creaky with the wood floors (bring ear plugs if you need them!) but it wasn’t too big of a deal for our group. "Family of 4 with 2 under 9. The house was very cute and very clean. More spacious than we had thought it would be. Amazing view of the lake! The host checked in on us through out our stay and was a pleasure to deal with. The girls loved going down to the lake to use the aqua park. Definitely need water shoes though as it’s quite rocky. The ice cream shop was also a big hit. The girls had a great time and we look forward to coming back hopefully next summer."

"The location of the cottage is perfect, it's only a short 5 minute walk up the road and across the highway to the restaurant, grocery store, pool, playground, etc. Down to the lake is a tough walk due to the steepness but it's only a 5 minute drive with plenty of parking down at the bottom. The cottage is on the first street, adjacent the highway so the backyard is the road embankment. "although this hotel was clean, it is dated and needs upgrades. The walls are very thin and you can year everything. All the staff were very friendly. Too bad the hot tub was out of service and the doors need to be soft close (it seems everyone was slamming their door). We would have been upset but the pricing was great."
