"we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall. "The young girl who was on reception when I arrived on Thursday and on Friday morning was amazing. She was so helpful and went over and beyond what would be expected. She is a real credit to the hotel. Breakfast was great and the room was spotlessly clean. I wouldn't hesitate in staying here and will recommend this hotel to others."

"A smart looking property situated in a quiet back street near Plymouth Hoe. Easily identifiable by the sign outside. Clean and tidy rooms with wonderful staff. I parked overnight in a nearby car park. Great place to stay."
