"We were there for a whole month, so had the opportunity to do quite a bit. We loved walking around the neighborhood with our dog and meeting lots of people along the way. The Tuesday market was a hit. Clam Bayou had fantastic kayaking and Gulfport Beach was within walking distance. We rode our bikes on the Pinellas bike path and drove to Ft Desoto Park (15-20 min) for road and Mt biking. Alafia State Park (abt 1 hr drive) has some of the best Mt biking in Florida.
