"This was the 2nd time we have stayed there. We returned because of the amazing experience the 1st time last year and we got the same amazing stay this year. I think they are always cleaning and taking care of the property, so rooms and hotel look amazing. The entire staff are friendly, welcoming, talkative and go out of their way to to ensure a good trip. They learn your name, even when only staying a few days. I would definitely recommend staying there. "

Wandering the grounds, we enjoyed visiting the farm animals and spotting native wildlife in their element. "We stayed here as a family of five (with kids aged 13, 8, and 5), and it was a wonderful experience. The pool was perfect for our kids—just the right size for them to enjoy and play safely. The location is great too; it's within walking distance to downtown La Fortuna, which made exploring easy and fun. The daily breakfast was delicious and a great way to start each day. We would absolutely stay here again as a family!"

"The property is just a 2 minute drive from La fortuna its in an excellent location that offers both peace and quiet as well as access to great restaurants and activities. The on site amenities are excellent including the restaurant. The hotel staff is attentive, helpful and very responsive. Id recommend Casa Del Rio to any couple of family in La Fortuna! Cant recommend highly enough! -Tyler and Breanna"

"WOW! We are staying 4 nights and so lucky to have chosen this hotel. The setting is fantastic, lovely and so relaxing especially the gardens, river, pond with ducks and the refreshing covered outdoor pool. Staff Marinela & Elena are very kind, helpful and efficient. Our room is spacious but minimal storage space. Lots of free parking and safe. Delicious outdoor breakfast by Karina and Cristina. A short drive to the town center. Highly recommended!"

"Had the cabin closes to the main road, not shown in the picture, it same Layout, small trickle of water on the side but surround by trees. Loved listening to sound of the birds. The property owner was Amazing very helpful and accommodating. "

"We loved our stay at Hotel Heliconias. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The grounds were beautiful. A sloth was right on the property. Beautiful flowers and birds. The restaurant had a wonderful free breakfast in the morning and great dinner options. The hot springs on the property were delightful. About 30 minutes from Arenal Volcano"
