"Quiet, Nature, Relax but no pool. The overall experience was excellent if you are wanting to disconnect and enjoy the peace and beauty of nature. My wife and I enjoyed walking the trails (in the morning due to rainy conditions later in the day). The grounds were well kept, and the rooms were simple and clean. "Xandari was awesome! We loved the villa, the property, the people and the food! The views are spectacular and food was super fresh. My family loved the spacious villa and walking around the grounds. "Amazing is an understatement. The hosts were very gracious, attentive, pleasant, informative, & over all the best host we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. "I plan on returning. The hotel is nestled in the heart of San Jose, it's a huge property. I chose it for the decor/culture of Costa Rica. I swam in a pristine Olympic sized pool, I saw several iguanas, and I don't know how many bird species and in the ceiling of my room, what I thought was a mouse, was actually a bird nest with new hatchlings, which was a bit disturbing when I was sleeping.
