"Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at Cabanas Rio Escondido. The property is beautiful, and the pools were nice for relaxing in after a day exploring La Fortuna. Our family apartment had two balconies - one in front and one in back facing the river. Check-in and check out were easy, and we appreciated the recommendations for transportation and restaurants. "

"Property is very close to downtown. Walking 1 to 2 km in this town is normal distance. We moved around with rental car. House/condo is very clean and rooms are nice. Kitchen has mostly everything you need. Our family loved it. Alao they recommended very nice Mexican restaurant and a local shop for empanada which were the best. "

"We had a great time at Cabanas Litos. The property was lovely with everything we needed. The pool area was great to cool off after a day exploring. "

"We had a great stay with 4 guests. The property is about an easy 10-15 minute drive from La fortuna. We found the layout of the home to be very enjoyable. The host was very accommodating with some last minute scheduling changes we had due to issues with our flight. Would recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area. "

"Easy to access and very close to downtown La Fortuna. Liked being in a quiet, quaint neighborhood. The property sits next to the river. We had some heavy rain and you could hear the river flowing as well as sounds of the forest. It was nice. Contained everything we needed and was comfortable all around. "

"Its great property for family vacation. 3 big rooms and big kitchen with a view of the arenal volcano. The property is gated and enclosed and felt very safe. The host was very communicative and friendly. Highly recommend"

"We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Tropical! It was clean, check in process was easy with Mario meeting us at the property and showing us around the house. The backyard was wonderful and relaxing with the pool and lounge chairs. Beds were comfortable, we felt safe and saw lots of wild life in the yard. Frogs, birds, geckos, monkeys high up in the trees and a toucan! Was conveniently only 10 mins into town! Would definitely recommend. "

The property was only minutes away from center of La fortuna where shops and restaurants were located. We had minor inconvenience with the bathroom, but host was quick to address.
