"Loved this place and the people. It is a little far from main attractions, Salisbury and Stonehenge. About 10-15 miles. But it is so charming. Food is fantastic and building is historic. Be sure to have right converters for plugging things in as there are no USB ports in the rooms. No AC and we arrived during a short heat wave. Bed very comfortable and the soaking tub in the room was great for cooling down."

"We were told this building was 960 years old. It is very delightful and a wonderful walk to town. Dinner was amazing - we had the bang bang chicken and steak frites, plus chocolate mousse. Every bite was fabulous! Kuddos to the chef. I would say the "king" bed is more like a queen in the United States, and there was a lot of pub noise, but it all quieted down after 10:30 - so we slept very well. I would highly recommend this to anyone."

"It was a beautiful place! The host was very nice and friendly; she came out to help us with things we could have read in the info packet she’d emailed, but she didn’t display the least bit of annoyance. Instead, she conversed with us a bit about the property. The tents are so nice and gave little touches that take it over the top: water bottles, ear plugs, eye masks, decor, space heater, lights over the entrance (didn’t keep me awake). "The property was very clean and comfortable and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Just a couple of observations . If a client is using derogatory foul audible language aimed at women in the bar area they should be asked to stop by the manager/bar tender - it’s not pleasant to be subjected to this if you’re sitting quietly trying to enjoy your own drink . It would be great value & a positive accolade for a simple continental breakfast to be included in the nightly rate instead of...
