"A pleasant cottage, but there is no access to back garden as 2 very large dogs were there. They also scratch / jump at the back door (in lounge) in the middle of the night! Front garden not as pretty as picture with some dog mess and dogs watching through gate. Lastly boiler is in bedroom so you can hear when it comes on. "

"Was amazing great comfy bed i slept in the last morning thats how comfy it was. Room very clean indeed. Breakfast amazing and staff were wonderful couldnt ask for any thing better would highly recommend 👌. Location was excellent too. When working away again would definitely stay again. "The room was perfectly clean with a very comfortable bed and the shower had none of the malfunctions often experienced in hotels!! The public rooms were beautifully decorated for Xmas. We enjoyed two breakfasts at the extensive buffet but missed maple syrup for our pancakes! However we were most impressed with the friendliness & helpfulness shown by all the staff & we expressed this on our departure. We will be back!"

"All staff were excellent, super friendly and helpful, I'd booked an attic room but seeing my husband on crutches they immediately swapped us into a first floor room which I think was an upgrade as it had a huge freestanding copper bath and Chesterfield sofa as well as a king (or maybe super king) sized bed. Despite the room not having been planned for use, everything was clean and fully stocked which was impressive. Bed extremely comfy, didn't want to leave! Breakfast being included was great,...
