This property is amazing. The owner of the property is so nice to deal with. He goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect for your stay. The home was very clean, very well decorated and very well maintained.

Magical Honeymoon Getaway

Amazing property!

This was our second stay at The Glass House. The house itself is a gem with expansive lake views, but there are also so many outdoor spaces to hang out, play, or unwind. Michael is an exceptional host; we didn’t think it possible, but he made small, thoughtful improvements that made our stay even more enjoyable than the first! Can’t recommend this property highly enough!

Zen!

This home is stunning and the gardens are pure tranquility! I did not want to leave! Bedding, bathrooms, kitchen and outdoors are all perfectly decorated and stocked. Loved everything about this home.

Ideal lake house

We loved our stay. The house has many peripheral things that many houses don’t have (weights, board games) and the house was in phenomenal condition when we arrived. We got exactly what we wanted from our stay and recommend it. Additionally, the owner is attentive and meticulous.

Exceptional Stay

This house doesn’t need reviewed as the pictures tell all! This was a great property for our girls trip! Hammocks, fires, water sports and a hot tub! What more could you ask for. Highly recommend booking if you’re looking for a weekend away.

Stunning and serene

"The Glass House" is stunning! Every view was amazing--the lake, the woods, the sunset. It was absolutely quiet except for the birds, gurgling creek, and pleasant wind chimes. My husband and I enjoyed getting away from it all and we will be back! Michael was an awesome host who was very communicative and accommodating. We loved it!

Gorgeous home and view!

This house is even more beautiful in person. The lake views are stunning from every room. Watching the light on the water from the screened-in-porch (while remotely working and schooling) was a definite highlight for us, but so were the comfortable hammocks, swinging outdoor bed, and the multiple comfortable places to work or relax with a gorgeous view on the deck and dock. When our work days were over, we thoroughly enjoyed touring the cove in the kayak, the luxurious hot tub, and the gas fire place in the living room. We highly recommend this beautiful property!

We'll be back!

This was a short trip for us (3 nights) but we were able to feel totally blissed out immediately due to the tranquility of the house. Everything was so thoughtfully done. Michael was a super host and was very great at communicating and being available. The amenities at the house were top notch! We can't wait to come back!

This property was truly AMAZING!! The views were beautiful and the amenities top notch. We loved sitting on the back screened in porch with the fire. The hot tub and hammocks were so relaxing. The house was so clean and the host was awesome. He stayed in contact with me and answered all my questions. This was such a nice week end and we can’t wait until our next trip which we booked today.

Immaculate!

We just spent Labor Day Weekend at this property and it was fantastic. The house itself is beyond beautiful and was sparkling clean. The screened in porch, multi-leveled deck and fire pit gave us multiple places to relax all weekend. The dock with a fully stocked boathouse was perfect for all of our water activities. Great fishing spot too! Michael was a great host and was very easy to reach with any questions we had. Hope to come back again!

Relaxing and beautiful

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Very well appointed, everything you need is supplied. Swimming was great off of the dock. We brought our boat and the lift was perfect. Peaceful and quiet. Michael was a great host. Thanks for sharing this beautiful retreat.

Perfect family vacation!

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lake house! The house was very clean and impeccably decorated. There were so many outdoor areas to enjoy. When we weren’t on the dock or in the water, we were relaxing in the hammocks on the screened porch or star gazing on the lawn. We made use of the kayaks, paddle boards, and floats in the boat house. The cove was very quiet with hardly any boat traffic. Michael, the owner, was very responsive to our questions and stocked the house with everything we could possibly need during our stay. The only thing we didn’t have was more time!

Perfect for us

We loved this property. It’s just like the pictures, super clean, smelled nice. We loved the hammocks on the screened in porch, the hanging bed on downstairs patio, fire pit, lake toys, and even the hot tub (in July!!). Lake is very quiet here and perfect for lounging. Beds were comfortable and the view is lovely. Very relaxing few days with my family. There is nothing nearby- we used the kitchen for all meals.

Rainy stay at the glass house

My girlfriend and myself had a week stay at Michael's glass house on Hyco Lake and the property was just as fantastic in real life as it is in the listing photos. Loved the firepit, loved the boat house (and lift), and the lake is a jewel. I bought a year pass at the boat ramp because we intend to visit the lake more even if we aren't staying on it. Unfortunately, we had a freakish monsoon come through (rained for 3 straight days) where the temperature dropped and we couldn't even use the outside during this time. The days where it was sunny and warm were spent on the boat or floating in the cove and thoroughly enjoyable. We will definitely consider using Michael's property again next year just not as early in the season (we stayed there mid-June) to avoid any weather issues.

Amazing private retreat on the lake!

This lake house is fantastic. It has picturesque views of the lake and surrounding landscape. There are so many comfortable areas to relax...living room, screened porch, outdoor deck, hot tub, outdoor bed, fire pit, lush yard on the lake, and the dock. We used them all and also took advantage of the kayaks provided by the owner. The house is tucked back in a cove which gives it added privacy and limited boat traffic. It’s perfect for a private couples getaway, two couples, or a small family. The place was super clean and very well appointed. Michael, the owner was very easy to communicate with before and during our stay. We would definitely go back again.

Unique, modern, beautiful property!

My husband and I desperately needed a getaway. Our newborn is six weeks old and our daughter is 10, so we were dreaming of getting out of our house amidst the quarantine. Booked this place and it did not disappoint. Around every corner is a new surprise for your eyes. The upper level is all huge glass windows so you never miss a moment looking out onto the lake or viewing the beautiful landscape- filled with flowering plants and greenery. Upon our arrival we were greeted with soft relaxing music playing and a extremely thoughtful basket of snacks and goodies. The decor is picture worthy ... I personally love interior decorating. This house has very modern, contemporary, relaxing touches. There are a total of four hammocks and we made use of them all. We also made use of the grill, outdoor fire pit, 2 kayaks, jacuzzi and games. We had a great time and would definitely return. The owner of this property was beyond accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
