"Where do I start when I arrived? I was greeted by Annette and Jade. They had to deliver me the bad news that I left my passport and credit card at the previous hotel in Bournemouth. They were absolutely lovely called the previous Hotel to say that I would be back the next day. The hotel is incredible sitting right on the water with spectacular views. Parking was very easy. "I’ve been going to the south hams for decades and we were visiting family for a long weekend. We decided to stay at stancombe farm as we wanted the flexibility of eating in and out. Our accomodation was really well equipped and we cooked a few times and had everything we needed. Microwave, Nespresso, dishwasher. The cupboards had all the little items you often need salt, pepper, vinegar. Location wise just above Chillington. A real credit to the owner. We will be back."

"Had a really comfortable stay, chalet was clean and tidy and had everything you needed. Location was perfect for getting about every where we wanted and Dartmouth harbour was 7 mins away in the car. My only criticism and it’s not really of any concern is that the outside lacks curb appeal and gives you a wrong first impression as the inside is fine for what it is."

"Couldnt fault the stay at Mabel's View it was simply amazing. The only thing I would add is the sign at the top of the road wasnt clear, we missed it on first arrival. The visit from Mabel was lovely, she loved her cuddles :) The cottage was fully equipped with everything that yould needed. "

"Didn't receive the property information coming up to the booking date, I contacted the company and was told there was some IT issue and apologised and forwarded me the information. When we first arrived after a 5 hour drive at half 6 on a Saturday evening, the access code for the key lock box we recieved via the property app was incorrect. "Great location, lovely guy but appalling cleaning standards, was on a 1 night stay and had cleaning supplies dropped around so I could clean the property. Decorating looks rushed and appliances old and dirty! Apart from that it’s a great size and with a few minor changes would be worth more money!"
