Lookout Cabin in the mountains, Amazing Views!

Imagine looking out from the comfortable couch & seeing the most amazing view! This cozy tiny cabin has some of the best views anywhere. It’s just over 600sq ft, but has all the amenities - full kitchen, 2BR & 2 baths, deck, Hot Tub, & wood stove. Lookout Cabin sits on the edge of the Shenandoah National Park, w/wildlife all around. The Shenandoah River is just a short drive and Skyline Drive is only a half an hour away. This is THE cabin for a relaxing or romantic getaway!

The cabin was fantastic, everything we wanted it to be. It was very clean and essential items for cooking. Brian communicated extremely well with check in/out instructions that made the transitions smooth and efficient as well as offered local food/attractions. I have a non AWD compact SUV with snow traction control that did make it up to the cabin on arrival to unpack however we did utilize the provided SUV for the remainder of our stay... instructions to use were great. Watching the sunset in the hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking. I loved that there were guest books for everyone to sign. Will definitely return!

Cabin was so cute! Amazing Views! Had a great weekend with only a minor hiccup of power outage, totally out of the host control but they were quick to respond and got up to the cabin to get the generator going till the power came back on.

The company was responsive within five minutes of every message. What can I sayBeautiful views, comfortable spaces, there was a tv in every room, plenty of board games, a book (I’m not a reader) that I read while taking in the wood stove.

My husband and I loved this cabin! It was such a relaxing place for us to spend time alone and with our dogs. The cabin was super clean and tiny. It felt cozy and warm. Even included a Christmas tree. The hot tub was really nice. Star gazing and views were even better. We would definitely return!

What a Sscenic and peaceful stay at this cabin! The views were just incredible and so were the sunsets. The cabin was very clean and cozy. Our dog loved the walk to the waterfall down the road. Brian, the property manager, was very responsive and helpful. Will definitely book again!

What a wonderful cabin! Hot tub is great and the location is amazing. We had fantastic views and lovely evenings stargazing. The road up to the cabin is rough, but the host does offer an SUV if needed. We had a truck and made it without issue. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and the grill worked great. Highly recommended!

The cabin is awesome, great views exactly as described in the description. Would love to come back and stay again. There is a waterfall right up the road less than a half mile hike through the woods. There wasn’t much of a waterfall because it hasn’t rained in over a week but was still a nice easy little hike.

What a spectacular place to stay. You couldn't ask for anymore the views and the cabin are definitely worth the trip. Brian was such a gracious host. You couldn't ask for more. He was on the ball with everything. Can't wait to go back

We had an amazing stay in our cozy cabin. It was impeccably clean, the hot tub was perfect, and everything was exactly as advertised. Highly recommend taking one of the SUVs up the mountain. We made it up in a Civic, but it was dicey; a little rain or more worn tires (ours are brand-new) would not be a fun time.

We did a short stay here on our way to Virginia Beach and it was everything that it was advertised to be! The beds were comfy. The view was breathtaking! Have fun driving up and down the mountain to get to it!

Definitely a bumpy ride up to the cabin, but 100% worth it. We experienced both beautiful sunsets, and the soothing sounds of a thunderstorm rolling over the cabin. The living room is such a relaxing environment.

The Road is Worth the View

Had a wonderful three day stay in this rustic mountaintop cabin. Kitchen was decently stocked, both bathrooms worked well, and beds were comfortable. Owner was very responsive to the one question we had. Would definitely book again.
