"Stayed overnight for a wedding near by. A lovely welcome from the receptionist. Easy check in and a fantastic room. The room was clean, tidy and well decorated with lots of retro items. A well stocked hamper for those that are tempted with treats. The breakfast was delicious, I tried the full breakfast on a skillet with fresh orange juice and a filter coffee. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. "

"Lovely stay at The Crown, really friendly staff the rooms are separate from the pub so nice and quiet, really comfortable bed all the amenities were superb. We didn’t eat there in the evening as had a party to go to but 14 of us had the carvery on the Sunday and I can honestly say it’s the best carvery I’ve had. Wouldn’t hesitate staying here again, just need my friend to have another party."

"Spent two great days at this B&B. It's off the main highways in a small village environment. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We had a warm welcome from the staff, who were helpful, friendly and made our stay relaxing. The room was large, clean and stocked with tea, coffee and water. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet at night. The breakfast bun was amazing, the bacon and sausage tasted great. We had an evening meal which was also prepared and cooked well. "A lovely place with a beautiful garden to the rear. Easy to find and very quaint. My colleague and i ate in the restaurant and the food was great. Highly recommend if staying in the area"

"A wonderful welcome and our room was lovely. The dining area was busy with both residents and local people. The menu offered a good variety and food arrived very hot and well presented. We wouldn’t hesitate to return but would advise that the age of the building means that stairs are very steep and the floors are uneven. "
