"We had a 3 night family stay with our dog for New Year and this property was perfect for us. Quiet residential area. Dog exercise at the park just a few minutes walk away. Bus stop very close by if you don't have/don't want to use the car; personally we enjoyed the walk to Gunwharf Quay. A short drive to Southsea Prom and everything it has to offer. Beds were comfy and the living/cooking/eating area provided all we needed for a few days. Option to have a bath or shower is a great addition. Just...

"We had a great time away with close friends at this property. Prior to booking this property we wanted to ensure that it fits all of our requirements. 4 bedrooms with ensuite, parking for 4 cars and close to Portsmouth. This property gave us all we wanted. We had a warm welcome upon arrival and shown around the property. Everyone enjoyed the time away. We will return to the Coach House as it fitted the requirements we wanted. "Lovely home, lots of space and the backyard is very quaint. My friends and I rented this for an event happening in the area locally and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the location and overall home was. It all felt very new. My only recommendation would be to make sure if you’re from outside UK to be sure to bring your own converter adapters and note that there’s no floor length mirror (we had events to dress up for). The property manager was very quick to respond and we enjoyed our stay....

"Very close to train station. Very close to large grocery store. Many diverse take-away and dining options in the neighbourhood. We all had our own bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped. Instructions for entry were clear. Door key was tricky at first, but we got the hang of it eventually. Bus routes nearby. No complaints. Would not hesitate to book again. "

"This House was ideal for my Wife's 70th birthday last weekend, all eighteen of our family agreed and it was a great success with everyone, however, The owner does need to improve the general condition of the decoration and some fittings, they have spent a fortune on a lovely new kitchen recently so they are seriously investing in the house, it would take a very small, by comparison, investment to put Bury Villa in TOP decorative order, which it needs in places, before the negative reviews start...

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem frisch renovierten und liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, es wurde sogar nach einer Woche die Wäsche gewechselt. Das Haus liegt in einer schönen ruhigen Wohngegend. Zum Strand sind es 10 min Fußmarsch. In der Nähe gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, einen Pub, Restaurants und einen empfehlenswerten Imbiss. Die Betreuung durch den Vermieter war sehr aufmerksam."

"The property it is located in not a very promising area with not a safe neighbourhood (had the police chasing some gangs for drugs). The interior of the property though, it is quite nice. As expected for £20 /per night( in our case). Fortunately it was very clean, with no weird smells. It is not freshly painted but reasonable condition.
