"This is a fantastic hotel. The staff are attentive and friendly, our room was beautiful and the hotel grounds are looked after with a real sense of care and pride. Breakfast was a highlight of the day! The outdoor pool area and various other seating areas around the hotel gave us many opportunities to relax and read. Although about a 30 min walk from the centre of Porto, there are many excellent restaurants within a 10 min walk of the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Palacete...

"Incredible stay at Maison Cabral. I cannot praise the property manager Susanna enough for her amazing hospitality. My flight to Porto was canceled so we had to drive from Madrid and Susanna checked on our bags (which had flown without us) and arranged for a late check/in. She gave us the best local restaurant recommendations - go to BB Gourmet and Nicolau- and even couriered over a bracelet that I left behind to my next hotel. "The hotel check in was exemplary. The young fellow who works the night shift (we checked in at 7pm) went out of his way showing us maps and giving restaurant recommendations. He explained the local food, how to order and the differences. We had an issue with the safe and he fixed it straight away. If they could clone him, I would only book in these hotels. He made the trip better. Thank you."

"The apartment was beautiful, tasteful designed, clean and had everything we needed (loved the little housekeeping kit, very thoughtful!) The communication was quick and on point. If you are a light sleeper be aware of a noisy area and that you can hear everything through the walls. We got used to that after a short time, so it wasn't a big deal for us. We spent a great time there. "

"I loved that the hotel was removed from the touristy area, but still within walking distance of everything. Our room was very clean, and the cleaning service each day was very kind and quick. The service from all staff was amazing. Food and beverages were top notch. 100/10 would stay here again."

"Th layout of our room Premium twin was very challenging. Shower Room completely transparent, opposite the only window, for 2 women sharing a room, it is VERY difficult. The long sofa faces the shower with no small coffee table to hold drinks. We travel a lot, this is one of the most difficult room to handle. BUT the staffs are wonderful: especially the dinning room Teresa and Christiane; attentive, polite and effective..thank you"
