"Property owner thinks they can keep all of your money even though a natural disaster happened during the time you were supposed to be there. So, basically, if the weather could kill you, you either take the chance of dying or have your money taken from you for absolutely nothing. Also, VRBO/Expedia states that there are exceptions for extenuating circumstances such as natural disasters. "The house was fully equipped and well maintained. The host was very responsive and accommodating, allowing us an earlier check-in. It rained throughout our stay and so never had the opportunity to use the grill or the fire pit but the indoor fireplace was a nice touch."
