Very Welcoming

  • Very welcoming and lovely home to enjoy your Pocono stay. We are located in the Town close to all amenties. Located 5 to 10 minutes from all the activities and attractions the Poconos have to offer. Please note, there are security cameras located on the front porch, for host as well as guest benefits. River is located for viewing and experienced within two blocks of house location westward. DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID SITUATION CHECK IN HAS BEEN MOVED TO 4PM TO ACCOMMODATE ADDITIONAL CLEANING.

    A two bedroom, one bathroom house with a Open Concept kitchen and comfortable living space. The house also comes with a 2 car driveway and a large backyard.

    The property is located near a Walmart, Weis, and Giant supermarket. 5-10 min drive, you will be able to find restaurants, gas stations, an indoor water park (Camelback and Kalahari), zip lining, ATV bike riding, scavenger hunt, local movie theater, laundromat, Ride Aid pharmacy, outlet stores, ski resorts (Shawnee Mountain), Poconos raceway, Smithfield National Recreation Area and Beach, Arial Tours, horse racing, zoo, casinos, amusements parks, rail roads, factory tours, breweries, covered bridges, scenic overlook (Delaware water gap), lakes, Bushkill falls, and pinzgauer tours. It is also walking distant from a hospital (Lehigh Valley Hospital), and East Stroudsburg University. All these activities and amenities are within 5 to 10 minutes from location. A river is available for viewing and experience two blocks west of location of the listing.
    Other things to note

    Home has a nice spacious backyard with a flat deck and beautiful front porch. Please note their are SECURITY CAMERAS located on front porch of property for guest and host benefits.

    Additional rules
    -Please remove shoes while in the house.

    -Absolutely No smoking. We have a strict no smoking policy inside of the house. If you would like to smoke, please smoke outside and discard of cigarette buds and ashes. If you are in violation of this, an additional fee of 300$ will be charged.

    -Pets are not allowed (Service and Emotional support animals). While we love pets, we currently cannot accommodate pets. If you are in violation of this, an additional fee of $500 will be charged.

    -Please respect our furnitures: DAMAGES to furniture will be paid for by the booking client. Additionally, anything removed from the property will be charged to client. FINE $500

    -NO SOLICITING
    -NO EVENTS/PARTIES
    -NO DRUG USE
    -NO FIREWORKS
    -NO WEAPONS/GUNS are allowed on the property

    -Please keep your noise level to a minimum after 10PM

    GUESTS: Please review your reservation and have the CORRECT number of guests listed. The reservation can be altered BEFORE check-in. Only booked personnel are allowed in the property. The home can accommodate up to 6 guests. Any additional person after the first 2 guests, will pay an additional $50.00 per person per night. FAILURE to disclose additional guests will result in a penalty charge of $200 per night for the length of the reservation previously booked and/or cancellation of reservation.

    ~By accepting these terms, it is agreed that all guest will assume the risks of any harm arising from the use of the property. We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that may occur during your reservation. ~

Close to University

Three parents stayed here to be close to the University where our sons were playing in a basketball tn. It is extremely close to the university which was very convenient.

Conveniently Located

This 2 bedroom is conveniently located near ESU and is comfortable. It was very nice to be able to cook meals, relax with a nice TV, and have good heat, A/C, and a hot shower. I would certainly rent this place again when I'm back for another visit.

Cute place!

Stayed here for only one night while driving home from Maine to Michigan. Adorable little town, and great location. Awesome front porch, but no chairs on it for us to sit & chill. Place was clean, wifi worked great.

Wonderful Stay

This is probably the cutest little house we’ve ever stayed! Very quiet neighborhood close to everything! Close to campus, close to Main Street. House is extremely cozy! Had great communication with owner. Everything was a breeze! Highly recommended!

Very cute and cozy place

This rental is very nice and clean inside. My friend and I enjoyed our stay very much. We had a problem with the thermastat not working but the owner responded quickly once i called him. had someone come fix it.

Hello, the house was very beautiful, but the pot was very dirty. It was very comfortable and it was very clean. I had a nice day, but that’s the only problem I had with the pots. It was very filthy.

Property owner thinks they can keep all of your money even though a natural disaster happened during the time you were supposed to be there. So, basically, if the weather could kill you, you either take the chance of dying or have your money taken from you for absolutely nothing. Also, VRBO/Expedia states that there are exceptions for extenuating circumstances such as natural disasters. We were supposed to be at the property from January 23, 2026 till January 25, 2026(leave by 11 am), during which time a huge snow storm covered the entire state of Pennsylvania. The governor of Pennsylvania even issued a state of emergency for the entire state. Meanwhile, I'm sure, had we actually gone to the property, stayed there like planned and gotten stuck and couldn't leave on time, we certainly would have been charged more money for that as well. Bottom line is, this property is just a HUMONGOUS SCAM. Also, there is/was no cancellation policy listed for the property.

Temperatures were in the low 30’s when we arrived early evening and there was no heat on. It took about 2 hours to warm up and there were still cold droughts from the 2 AC units in the window - especially where paper was stuffed at the AC sides in the main bedroom.The hot water for a shower/bath did not work it was mildly tepid, although there was hot water in the kitchen and bathroom taps. The owner said he’d have someone look at it but nothing was fixed.The table and counter surfaces were dirty enough to darken a cloth, along with some dead bugs, dust and grit on on windowsills and mantle. Some cooking pots were also dirty and there was black mold and food debris in the sink.This was overpriced for no hot wash water, a cold house, and a charge of 60 for cleaning for our 2 days when the place was dirty on arrival.

Bad Business

Did not get the code to the house the day of arrival as commonly done. Instead it says will get “on arrival”. That was 20 minutes waiting , and needing to go elsewhere for a bathroom before code was sent to get in. Home heat was slow to warm up, on cold, wet day. NO HOT WATER. Poor and slow communication from owner. With VRBO involved, still poor. Promised to get help, but no help came, after 3 phone calls and 6 hours. There was less than a roll of toilet paper for 4 people. Crusty bowl left next to sink. Both kitchen and bathroom sinks had yellow crusty pieces left in them. Kitchen cabinets dirty around sink area. Know your rights. No one deserves to be gaslighted.

Terribly disgusting! From ants, to random pills on the carpet, stains and hair in the sheets, moldy smell, trash and dog feces all around the property, very dusty baseboards & doors, the microwave literally had stuck on food and grease inside and out! Crusted food or god knows what on the dining room table. The place was so filthy we didn’t even get ready at our place and bought new sheets. I didn’t want to touch ANYTHING. Had to line the filthy couch with a blanket we brought with us. When I texted the host to see what could be done about getting back the “cleaning fee” he/she basically said you can leave and I’ll refund you since you won’t find anywhere around here cheaper than this. Cheap wasn’t the issue, inconvenience was. I sent pics and videos to the host and they said “well my cleaners said they cleaned and I had to pay them” to which I replied “ I see that they said they allegedly cleaned but is that considered clean to YOU??!like with your eyes does any of this look clean??!!” 0/10 would not recommend, the pictures are a complete scam and the street the house is on is very rowdy, that’s a whole different story.

Home was as pictured and location was quiet and people friendly near a University! We were there for an Anniversary Weekend. Convenient location for all your needs. We did a ATV t riding nearby at Pocono ATV Tours. The house looks better in person than in pictures. The neighbors were good neighbors. The house was clean but not thoroughly clean. Meaning there was spill stains not wiped off of white cabinets. Silverware with food still on them and crumbs inside the refrigerator. Nothing major but things that should be cleaned on a normal let alone for a VRBO rental. Place could use a deep cleaning. Another thing is the fishnet or drain should I call it is DISGUSTING!! Simple fix, just needs to be replaced. Other than that we would stay there again.

Lovely Stay

This place was exactly as advertised. Very cute little home with a clean environment. Smelled delicious too! Close by to the town center, but far enough that it was quite. Had a lovely stay. Only thing is if you are used to standard size towels, I'd suggest bringing your own. The ones provided get the job done, though. Overall I would 100% stay here again!
