"エディンバラを朝から晩まで楽しみたい方にはおすすめしませんが、観光客で溢れたエディンバラを脱出して郊外で特別な宿泊体験をしたい方にはおすすめです。お城の塔の寝室、大広間、屋根上が貸切です。お姫様というよりは砦の城主の気分を味わえます。車で行く方が多いようですが、私たちは最寄りのWallyford駅（エディンバラから2駅）から歩きました。遊歩道を30-40分ほど歩くと着きます。夕食は済ませるか、調達してから行く必要があります。朝食は部屋に準備してあり、好きなものを選んで食べられます。オーナーご夫妻が気さくでとても良い方々でした。おすすめです。"

"Fantastic 2nd honeymoon dinner in the Dungeon!!!! Took a great hike around the property the next day, with a visit to the falcon habitat. The Falcon caretaker was very friendly and knowledgeable. Having never seen a falcon up close, it was a real unexpected treat."

"Two live wasps were in the room. Owner offered a downgraded room that had toilet outside the room. We had paid for en suite so we refused his offer and he agreed to refund us the money we had paid. I’ve had to message the owner few times to take care of the refund but I haven’t had any update. I now have to deal with the hassle of reporting the matter to the platform to get my money back. This is a headache I could have done without so I could enjoy my holiday. "

"My room was absolutely lovely! It had a little sitting nook that looked out at Arthur’s Seat. The staff was very friendly and super helpful! The location is right by public transport. My room was ready when I arrived quite early! My only complaint was that they’d run out of venison at the restaurant, and only part of the bathroom floor is heated. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. I highly recommend it! "
