"Hotel was lovely looking and the room was nice too. However, we paid a rate that was supposed to include breakfast. When we went down for breakfast we were told that the chef wasn’t in work that day so the only things available was panini or toasties out of the coffee room. The food looked like it had been there for ages and I paid for an actual breakfast. We weren’t told there was no chef until we went down for the meal. I feel we should have been charged less as at no point were we told that...

"Very lovely place to stay. Friendly welcome, cosy room and nice breakfast in a bag. "

"Look, you are probably staying here because you are attending a conference at University of Warwick, visiting your kid who goes to said university or some.variation on the theme And, if so, this is a clean, tidy hotel right in the thick of the action,where you can stay in a room similar to a Premier Inn for, well。about the same price as a Premier Inn. If thats good enough, ( and it was for me) seems like a good , safe choice."

"This was a real surprise. Fabulous, friendly staff and a spacious and airy venue. Our twin room was very clean, quiet and comfy. We ate in the bar and the food was good. Although there is tea and coffee making facilities in the room, the bar offers comfy seating and complimentary hot drinks and cooled filtered water. We had a great walk in shower and all the staff were efficient and helpful. Parking is free via a supplied code. It's an ideal venue if you go to the cinema or a show on the campus...

"This property was my style of hotel, lots of character with a charming secret garden to dine in, but very modern rooms. Even had a towel warmer! Like all European hotels, they don't provide wash cloths, but I just used the corner of a towel since I had forgotten to bring a wash cloth. Not a big deal. "A warm welcome with clear explanation on access. It’s not a manned reception so you’ll need the code. Lovely place and in the process of renovation which I knew before booking. Feels like you’re in the countryside but very close to Coventry, 10 mins to CBS Arena in taxi. Recommended. "

"Just a quick night away. Parking a bit of a challenge as the cars I parked between had been a bit greedy. Room spotless, bed comfy, the chocolate bar a lovely touch. Wine selection very good and food really excellent. Staff helpful-we couldn’t get our TV to work. It was promptly fixed"
