"Great location, spacious apartment!"

"What a wonderful retreat! It had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable and afforded us tranquility after working our booth at a local art fair. We look forward to staying there again. We did have a challenge trying to unlock the door upon arrival, but a quick call to the owner took care of that."

"Loved it! Exactly as described. Quiet, comfortable, and within walking distance to so much. Coffee shop across the street was wonderful."

"We had a great time staying in Charlottesville! Gatsby was a great choice for what we wanted to do during our visit, particularly it's location on the Downtown Mall shopping strip. Positives:-Check-in was extremely organized-Gatsby was very clean/all house equipment worked well-Location is perfect for those looking to spend time shopping up and down the wonderful shops and restaurants at the Downtown Mall. "What a great experience. The property management company was so easy to work with. The house was immaculate. Comfortable, clean, beautiful bay windows overlooking the mall, easy to access, the rooms were big, the kitchen was stocked, the living room/kitchen table area was huge. And you truly cannot beat the location. One flight of stairs and your walking the Charlottesville downtown mall area. We would definitly book this place again in the future."

"Apartment is lovely. Very clean upon arrival. Beautiful, well appointed kitchen. Nice walk-in closet in primary bedroom. Comfortable beds. Very well done bathrooms.Host was very pleasant and helpful. Quick to respond to texts and resolve an issue. As other reviews commented, it can be noisy because the apartment is right on the downtown mall. Didn't find this to be a deterrent. Just used noise canceling earbuds. There was also a box of earplugs in the closet. Parking was close and inexpensive....

"Beautiful location and close to Richmond. Everything was functional, spotless, and very easy to use from arrival to departure. Can't say enough about how great an experience this was and will definitely be returning in the future"
