Two stars ** for the hotel, five stars ***** for the restaurant! Not the most well run / customer focused destination. Some of the front desk staff were "curt" and weren't that helpful during check-in, but the overworked night guy was great. (Kudos for him!) Rooms & furnishings were "basic" for the price. The room didn't have bathrobes. The pool didn't have towels during adult swim hours in the evening. The waters in the pool and hot tub were dirty. The entryway fireplace / ceiling height is impressive, but the hotel's decor is substandard. They need a real interior designer to bring the standards up to level. The main standout, the restaurant was great for dinner, especially the crab cakes and roasted chicken!
