"A thoroughly pleasant stay at a lovely guest house. From arrival I was met by the owner who was pleasant, friendly and made me feel very welcome. The room was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The bed was also nice and comfy too. I undertook 'The Lap' 47 mile ultra marathon, so when I came back to the room, I really needed a nice bed and this one was lovely. It was easy to enter and leave the property with your own key etc. Upon checking out the owner made sure everything was satisfactory...

"Group of 10 of stayed for one night, great welcome from Conor who couldn't be more helpful. Room was spotless with everything you could want including fridge and air con. Downstairs bar is a great place for a drink before heading out for the night and Funny Girls is only a short walk away. Would definitely come here again if looking for a night in Blackpool. "

Delicious and ample breakfast, tailored to your needs with plenty of tasty options which set us up right for a long walk. Super comfy bed, warm, little nice things like milk and good advice on walks and local sights. They also gave us biscuits to keep us trucking on our walk on our way out the door. "

"I'm so glad I chose this Guest House to stay at, after reading some awful reviews about other places (Always do your research first. For example l, I went to the Blackpool Tower Circus yesterday, had a fantastic couple of hours there and during the interval got chatting to a couple in front of me and they didn't realise that the Circus ring is directly centred under the Tower itself. The four feet of the tower are around you. I only found this out by doing a bit of research Googling it. The...

"Clean, friendly staff and central to all local attractions. Our room had a view of the Blackpool tower from our window, watching the lights on a evening while winding down from a busy day. Quiet road and a well run business. "

"Hotel.com didn't process booking correctly luckily Richard the owner phoned me and informed me and sorted it out over phone so our weekend wasn't ruined. If your expecting the Ritz go somewhere else if you want cheap clean and comfort go to the aysgarth hotel. Location is perfect 2 minute walk to beach or central pier. Owners couldn't do enough for you will definitely go back there again."

"Lake nice. Rooms like any Ibis but too expensive. Small swimming pool we didn't use it. And paying extra for amenities and Internet it's just a terrible idea. Why don't they just ad 15 pounds to the price of the room and don't act like a low cost airline. The resort is not low cost. Brilliant lake view from the Lodge. Ugly restaurant and bar. The machines doesn't work they keep your money and lady in reception couldn't help. It's not a 4 stars hotel! ITS NOT LAKE...
