You’ve never seen one like this before. Let your next romantic escapade unfold right here at our incredible sanctuary amongst the oaks. Offering a main house with one (2) bedrooms 1 King Bed, 1 Queen Bed (2) baths, this property is located just a quick drive away from world-class destinations in Carmel-by-the-Sea, Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove, and Carmel Valley. An ADU with its own entrance and two (2) bedrooms and (1) bath is also available for the enjoyment of additional members of your group.

Cruising up the immaculately hardscaped driveway upon your arrival, you’ll get just a hint of this property’s utter uniqueness when you spot whimsical wood trellises rising up in two locations, guiding your eye down a few stairs onto a deck. What else is back there? Where does that go?

Multiple decks provide the perfect outdoor spaces for entertaining, whether you're savoring morning coffee or hosting a barbecue with friends and family.

Your curiosity piqued, you and your companion will bound down the stairs and through the little tunnel formed by the home’s front façade. Looking to the left, you’ll realize how high up the home sits from the road. If you’ve ever wanted to stay in a treehouse, you’ll come close at “Tranquil Garden Getaway.” Gorgeous wood plays to captivating effect outdoors, and just when you think you’re already impressed by the decking and the height, you’ll arrive in the backyard.

Discover serenity with your very own waterfall and tranquil pond, where you can unwind to the soothing sounds of nature or host delightful gatherings in this picturesque setting.

The word “backyard” doesn’t seem quite adequate to describe this space, which is a dramatically layered garden built masterfully into the hillside and existing in delightful harmony with the natural elements. But the part that will make your jaw drop is the engineered waterfall that flows from the top of the hill, through a stone-covered course that runs underneath multiple tiers of wood platforms and walkways, and in the end trickling mellifluously into a pond at the base. There’s simply so much to explore here – so many intriguing new vantage points to discover and beauty to stoke the fires of your imagination for hours on end.

Sip your morning coffee out here, or bring your favorite book. At night, the heady fragrance of dense foliage and rose-scented geranium seems amplified, as does the entrancing sound of streaming water. “Tranquil Garden Getaway” is a genuine feast for the senses.

The main house has remodeled bathrooms and kitchen providing a perfect blend of modern convenience and classic style. The heart of this home is a beautifully appointed kitchen, where maple floors shine underfoot, and custom trim work exudes warmth and character.

Back inside the main house, flip on the fireplace in the main living room, pouring a glass of wine before cozying up on the couch for movie night. “Tranquil Garden Getaway” offers a reverse floor plan, with the upstairs living room giving way to a sophisticated kitchen with high-end stainless-steel appliances, a wine refrigerator, and a movable island. Light fixtures dangle down from a vaulted wood ceiling in between two skylights, lending a modish vibe to the space.

At bedtime, wind down in your supremely comfy bed outfitted in luxury linens. There’s an additional bedroom with bathroom on the ground level, but the primary bedroom is upstairs along with the living room, kitchen, and another wrap-around deck with a grill. Travertine tiles in the bathroom create a spa-like effect, and skylights above your shower wash you with sunshine first thing in the morning. It’s an invigorating start to what you can only expect will be another day of whimsy, beauty, sophistication, and surprise here on the Monterey Peninsula.

County of Monterey Transient Occupancy Registration Certificate # 000TBD

Monterey County Ordinance requires we collect Transient Occupancy Tax equal to 10.5% of rent. Some Vacation Rental websites do not support collection of T.O.T. In those cases, the Tax must be paid directly to the Property Manager prior to or upon arrival for all Rentals shorter than 30 Days.

In order to maintain proper security for owners, guests and contractors, the exterior of this property has electronic surveillance equipment and the property owners may conduct monitoring and surveillance activities.

The deployment of electronic surveillance is limited to locations that do not violate the reasonable expectations
of privacy. Electronic surveillance shall not be implemented in situations where confidential or sensitive
information is likely to be recorded and distinguishable. Electronic surveillance shall not be installed inside
the home; however, doors to the exterior may be covered by electronic surveillance.

Monthly rental rates are discounted to reflect that guests booking reservations of more than 28 days are required to pay Gas, Electric and Water Utilities in addition to the quoted rental rate.

Clean and beautiful

It is a very beautiful property. Very clean and well styled home with plenty of space. I enjoyed the backyard very much with all of the lush greenery and flowing water. The only cons were having to go in-person to check in and the noise from cars on the street that we could hear from the master bedroom. Overall a great stay though.
