Not much in the immediate area food wise (would need to drive to Balloch for any alternative dining options) but the food at Oaktree was lovely, tasty and filling. Good choice of whisky too."

"This is a beautiful hotel, the castle is lovely but the new building is gorgeous. The room was a good size and was very tastefully decorated, and we had plenty of tea and coffee. The staff are very friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice, served in the main bar area. "

"The staff are amazing all friendly, cheery and helpful. The hotel has a nice homely feel to it, with a mix of modern and traditional styles. The grounds are immaculate and the rooms are clean and spacious. As for the food it is delicious and very reasonably priced. Will definitely return."

"Easy check in with large spacious car park at rear. Very comfy bed and good quality linen. Only 1 chair in room when there was room for a 2nd - I hate having to sit on a bed in a hotel room. Nice clean bathroom, with big fluffy towels. Luggage rack and large wardrobe space. Iron and ironing board, plus hairdryer. No usb sockets, but plenty of 3-pin sockets. "Where do we begin? We arrived at the hotel, and the staff was courteous and very accommodating. Lunch and dinner at the hotel was exquisite, the room was clean and immaculately appointed, and our night’s sleep was peaceful. The Sherbrooke is a hidden gem, and we will tell anyone who visits Glasgow to stay there! Thank you all for such a marvelous stay. "
